  1. Shrug.
    In the 2015 Federal election 69.3 percent of BC’s electorate cast ballots for turdo la doo, the InDeepers, or Lizzie-the-Lush. It was probably more like 90 percent in Victoria.

    It’s only a matter of time before they really get what they voted for.

    1. I wonder what it will take for the left to understand the meaning of the words ‘Nazi’ and ‘fascist. They have it 180 degrees backward.

      Further, I am tired of being called a fascist or an ‘alt right’ person, whatever that means. I am on the right, but the ‘alt’ part escapes me. I am not a Nazi, my skin-tone is not correct for the Aryan world.

      It is the bastards of the left that murdered over 100 million innocent people in the 20th century … not the Alt right.

      ‘Aryan’ is a misused term, but to fascists it means white person preferably with blond hair and blue eyes.

    The Nazis were not the “alt-right” whatever that is, they were deep leftists who found common cause with Communists in carving up Poland (see Sept 1, 1939); which he would have read about if he studied the period 1933 – 1945.

    Yeah, some historian. This character trotting out clap trap sounds more like a communist historical revisionist.

    But then calling people Nazis today is just another throw away line, in an effort to dis someone else’s character by which to get reelected.

    Yep character assassination is such a lovely method, because avoids completely Victoria’s City Council enduring problem of sewage outfall.

    At present Victoria still pumps it’s shit out to sea and has been doing so for at least 50 years.

      It is really surprising that he does not bill himself as Kommissar. Anyone to the right of the Bolshevik Felix Dzerzhinsky and German Workers Party (predecessor of Nazi Party) Ernst Röhm is considered ‘alt-right’.

  5. Poseur assholes like him infest municipal politics. Psychological projection is the only thing this guy is capable of. In his case, he wishes to bring to the real world the type of fascist censorship and Green Marxist habitat as that found on campus where he first lived off the taxpayers and learned his trade. He buys votes as virtue signalling in a futile attempt to pander to “affordable housing” when everything that makes housing “unaffordable” is as a result of government action that he would be entirely in favour of. Hiding behind the green hysteria of the “climate crisis” is a blank cheque for statism when it comes to his ilk.

    Even the comments from self defined leftists on that site give him a blast for his Nazi labeling incontinence.

  6. For a PhD in history he seems to be lacking any knowledge about what fascism is (not a surprise). The alphabet soup about diversity and climate change is the usual garbage I’ve come to expect from academics.

    National – or nationalist – not a dirty word.
    Socialist – not exactly alt right – and they despised capitalists but worked with them of necessity
    German – limited by geography
    Worker’s – it was not a party of the elite – it despised the elite
    Party – not a dirty word

    My guess is there are no Nazis in North America other than as socialist boogeymen.

      The national socialist experiment, to make a very long story short, backfired on its architects. (Hitler’s job was to rid central Europe of its Jews, not bomb the City of London.) A repeat of the experiment was never seriously considered.

      Today national socialism no longer exists outside the imagination of a few deranged schoolboys, the extreme left and Deep State intelligence agents tasked with spreading disinformation against patriotic movements.

      Socialists find it necessary to despise capitalists because they need to steal all the wealth created by “capitalists” to buy the support of the proletariat. If they can’t hold the wealth creators to be despicable, they can’t justify stealing from them.

      Ben Isitt is of sort of character who joined the communist or fascist parties of 1920s and ’30s, whichever was ascendant in his time and place.

The kind of stupid that keeps getting voted in, by the ignorant usual suspects (teachers, CUPE, BCGEU, HEU) membership that are sent the list of Marxists to vote for, election after election. Then they ignore the stupidity for 4 years until the next time. He will be one, of several, who will protect/reward the CUPE guv workers, and in turn, they return thus Marxist to spew his BS, where he is openly mocked by the far left media in this town.
    It’s pretty bad, when even the media mocks this clown. He’s no scholar, that’s his own written headline. He is your typical “drugs are good, homeless are normal people, eat the rich” asshole. He also tried to eliminate Christmas decorations, but never mentioned all the other faiths that the city also acknowledges/decorates for.

  15. The author of that post directly advocated for violence “…are you doing your part?” by kicking someone in the teeth “like her”. The author identified the people to be assaulted as Canadian “conservatives” which include LGBTQ+, women, First Nations, and other protected groups.

    I reported the author for Rules Violation.
