Chinada

Pinky swear: “We are willing to sign no-spy agreements with governments, including the UK government, to commit ourselves to making our equipment meet the no-spy, no-backdoors standard,” Huawei chairman Liang Hua told reporters in London via an interpreter.

  1. I wouldn’t trust that statement as far as I could throw the paper it was written on. There were and are very good reasons not to trust the Chinese Communists with technology.

  2. “There are no Chinese laws requiring companies to collect intelligence from a foreign government or implant back doors for the government.”

    Ahahahahahahaha! Ahahahahahahahaha! Ahahahahahahahaah!

    1. Scar, Yeah, you could laugh yourself to death over that statement. It must have been a joke, no one is that naive.

  3. “British minister Jeremy Wright, who will announce the findings of the telco supply-chain review, had said the benefits of cheap kit would not trump security concerns.”

What? Our leaders just figured out how expensive cheap kit from China really is? Only took forty years and the condemnation of an entire generation of working men to lifelong poverty.

So what really brought them around? Afraid the Chinese would hack their phones and find their huge collection of kiddie porn?

  4. “no backdoors standard”
Right up there with the lunch special, Pork & Cream of Sum Yung Guy.

  5. Reads future tense; “to commit ourselves”. So in the past they haven’t committed themselves to this standard?

Nice they’re finally discovering ethics. Amazing the moralizing power of the dollar (and a palatial house arrest in East Hong Kong).

    1. yep.
beat me to it sp, reading betwixt les lignes, aaaaaand we learn they are basically ADMITTING having done it in the past. the TURDoo 2.0 is ecstatic, his much much ADMIRED dikpotatoship is on track.

a nation that targets and commits vital organ harvesting from LIVE victims (the best kind!!!), will lie
and lie and lie and lie and lie and lie and lie and lie and lie.

did I mention they will lie about ANYTHING.
Epoch Times had a series describing what they do in satanic terms.

but!! OUR pm ADMIRES this. he said so. and he wants YOUR vote in october.

    2. Socky, unfortunately their ethics like all ethics are situational, and change as change is required.

  6. “We won’t lie to you,” they lied.

“Oh good,” we said, “that’ll be alight then.”

    1. yep….n I wont cum in your mouth either.
      Famous last words.

Not the Brightest nor well thought out or edit reviewed statement…kinda on par with what PM Dipshit spews on a regular Basis…but I’m kinda thinking he’s still confused with Japan/China…and likely Korea to boot.

  7. Chinese Subjects and Chinese businesses are required to cooperate with Chinese Intelligence /Spy Agencies,

The Intelligence Law… repeatedly obliges individuals, organizations, and institutions to assist Public Security and State Security officials in carrying out a wide array of “intelligence” work. Article Seven stipulates that “any organization or citizen shall support, assist, and cooperate with state intelligence work according to law.”

Article 14, in turn, grants intelligence agencies authority to insist on this support: “state intelligence work organs, when legally carrying forth intelligence work, may demand that concerned organs, organizations, or citizens provide needed support, assistance, and cooperation.”

Their promises are all lies until they repeal this law. The recent US-China trade dispute was caused by China reneging on their promises to enact laws enforcing the agreements on Intellectual Property and Theft of Trade Secrets. Unless these laws change, Huwaeii will spy on everyone, as it is their duty to China and demanded by China. They can hide behind the Chinese National Laws for the reasons why they allowed the spying.

Has the Potato extradited Princess Huwaiee to the US yet?

    1. The Chinese don’t have “Law”.
Law is the will of the people, expressed by free voting, a represenitive legislature, and independent judges.
China has none of that. It is a Communist Dictatorship. It orders, period.
It has dictats they call “Law”, but they are but commands.
Who would trust a nation that doesn’t trust its own people?

  8. China experiences spying differently.

    We have no James Blond.

We are collecting data melly to implove the usee expeliences.

  9. Oh, that agreement will totally work.

Are they admitting that they did spy or is this an example of China’s friendliness and transparency with its trading partners?

I suspect some people regret MacArthur’s not being able to nuke China or at least publicly gut that fat pig Mao.

  10. “We are willing to sign no-spy agreements with governments…”

    Sure you are.

That’s a good one. Tell me another.

  11. I’m reminded of a story about a scorpion and a turtle.
Scorpion “I promise not to sting you, I need to get across the river.”
Turtle “Why did you sting me?!?”

  12. If the Chinese government told me it was raining I’d walk outside and check before I picked up an umbrella.

  13. Place a tax on all corporate profits by Chinese national companies in Canada. Tax the crap out of them until they sell out.

  14. Fear not,our comrades in the Liberal Cabinet will lock us into a 30 years contract to buy Chinese systems.
    Cause it’s 2019 or something.
Dear Leader admires Their Basic Dictatorship and they did Promise not to spy on some of us.
For Liberals KNOW how trust worthy and reliable politicians promises are.
Petulant Pipsqueak for Prime Minister again, so the West can escape this collapsing country as soon as possible.

  15. Here is the diplomad who actually was a diplomat and had a regular blog during the previous president.
It was interesting to read and comment.
Anyway here is his view on Chinese communist gymnastics and Trumps handling of it,

    Braking China
