  1. What is it with these crypto-Marxists that they hate freedom of the press? This action was out of the blue to say the least.

  2. She don’t do “Irony” well.
Funny how the Liberals prattle on about a “Free press” , is that because of all the free election support they get from the Canadian Media Guild?
Free of course meaning 2 billion or so of taxpayers dollars.
I am reminded here that RT covered the CRU Email relevations far more accurately and in better time, than CBC, who did all they could to deny and coverup.
    Constantly Biased Corpse.

      1. Ha – I’d like to do a ballistics test on the zipper in that purple dress . It doesn’t break under the strain? I wish I knew who made ’em…..

  3. So, how would Russia or Venezuela NOT fit in with this crowd, given the recent and/or ongoing control/suppression of the media in beacons of democracy such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and Peru? And you can damned well add our own bought-and-paid for MSM to that list.

Reminds me of this old one:

So this whore walks into this pub, and she says to this floozy sitting it at the bar, “Hey, we don’t allow your type in here!”

  4. Is the government following the orders of their president Obama? He travels around a lot pretending to be US President these days.

  5. Turdeau must be planning a trip to Russia soon and doesn’t want the media to take pictures of:
    – Turdeau dressed in a Cossack outfit
    – Turdeau dancing
    – Turdeau and Putin riding horses bare chested.

  6. The money quote:
“”Canada is a strong voice for freedom of expression and freedom of the press at home and abroad,” said Adam Austen. “Global Affairs Canada has a broad accreditation policy to ensure that media are able to report on events hosted in Canada. We take this responsibility seriously. Our objective is to provide access to media outlets that do not deliberately distort facts or spread propaganda and misinformation.””

    but CNN was accredited…

    1. Only twenty years ago?

Come off it. I’d bet my last dime her grandpa used stories of the “Yid-Bolsheviks” who chased him out of Russia to scare her into bed.

      1. “Ms. Freeland, who has paid tribute to her maternal grandparents in articles and books, helped edit a scholarly article in the Journal of Ukrainian Studies in 1996 that revealed her grandfather, Michael Chomiak, was a Nazi propagandist for Krakivski Visti (Krakow News).”
This has all been covered here before. She admitted the truth about her grandfather in an article she wrote in 1996 but still stands up on her hind legs to accuse the Russians of waging a disinformation campaign about her and her family while at the same time ignoring any pertinent questions about her grandfather’s past.
        A bit strange IMO.

        1. Not at all.

Chrystia is well aware that in a world where there were any justice she would never have been born and millions more Jews would now be living happy, prosperous lives in the Land of Israel.

She, quite understandably, does not like to be reminded of the fact that she insults the memory of the Six Million every time she draws breath, and that she would do the best thing by Israel and Canada by walking to the Rideau Falls across from her office on Sussex Drive and jumping in.

Does she have nightmares about dying in an Israeli prison? God, I hope so.

  7. “Accredited”
Means Qualified for the $600 million, say nice things about Liberals fund.
Strikes me Obama only used 100 million US$, does this mean our presstitutes are more expensive?
Or that the Kanakastan dollar is really worth so little?.

  8. If it’s state media then it’s okay to bar them. Particularly of nefarious states like Russia.

  9. Since they fired Yuri Bezmenov, CBC has basically been a Russian state news agency. Why would the Russians need to retaliate?

Bet you the Russians can get the CBC to say whatever they want with about 30 seconds notice.
