  1. So when there’s a foot of snow in Vegas in June of 2022 do we still have to pay a carbon tax?

    1. Johnboy, I used to wonder what my fellow man was thinking, I even had a few theories and even embraced a few others from people I respected. Now, I just go with position they are all freaking nuts. They lack intellect and scientific ability and are flat out fools. I have seen ice on the shore in NS in July, I have seen 90 degree weather in Oct and not in Florida. Todays people are not very bright. I believe the IQ has slipped by at least ten points in the last decade. We are becoming dumber. There will be no escape from the stupidity. Those who pay a carbon tax have been coerced by the majority and today, the majority have become fools. Too bad we all have to suffer for their foolishness.

    I find the possibility interesting.
    There is roughly an 80 year cycle in our weather records.
    Now I know these records are too short to establish any pattern, but speculation is Climate Science these days.
    The weather in the Mississippi catchment is unloading a lot of water this year.
    I wait.

  3. The science is quite clear on this matter. CO2 is not pollution but one of the building blocks of all life on this planet, without which all life ceases to exist as we know it. The theory of global warming is debunked in the geologic timescale where it is proven CO2 always increases after global temperatures rise, not the other way around, as the GW theory dictates. Additionally the GW theory states the upper troposphere will develop a tropical hotspot. No such hotspot exists, debunking one of the main hypothesis of the theory. It seems the Global Warming theory does not exist in the real world, but what is agreed upon by all scientists is we are headed for global cooling due to low levels of sunspot activity. This is why there is a big push for action now, as the con becomes less palatable to the public each year as they shiver in the cold.

      REAL Science and to be honest – simply common flippin sense that it is the sun that is the One and Only Driver of climate on the planet. I test this conviction on occasion when some CO2 -Emissions climatista rants off about EV’s, Wind Trubines and Solar panels – I ask them that if the SUN went Dark for one reason or another, do ya think CO2 would keep the planet warm..?

      1. Mars’ atmosphere is 95% carbon dioxide and the average temperature is -63 deg C.

        Since we don’t fully understand our climate this statement seems unscientific.
        Earth’s orbit, plate tectonics, giant asteroids have all affected our climate. The sun didn’t wink out but the dinosaurs are still dead.

        1. Earth’s orbit (Malinkovitch cycles) occur at 26,000 (precession), 41,000 (tilt) and 100,000 (eccentricity) year intervals. We don’t know exactly how these effects are related to climate change but they are 10,000 + year cycles.

          Plate tectonics occurs even more slowly – over 10s of millions of years. The continents haven’t moved much during the past 50 million years.

          Asteroids are very rare – 65 million years since the last one that killed the dinosaurs.

          But the sun is always there and its effects are not constant. I think that was the point of the “one and only”. Compared to humans (and the human timeline) the sun is the main (one and only) driver of climate.

  4. 1. Scientists do not know what causes the ice ages where temperatures drop by 6 degrees C over a few hundred years.

    2. Scientists do not know what causes the El Nino / La Nina events that raise / lower global temperatures by 1.5 degrees over a few years.

    3. Scientists are 97% certain that the 0.1 degree per decade rise in global temperatures is caused by CO2 emissions and that we only have 12 years before the Earth reaches a tipping point.

    1. 4. Scientists agree that 62% of them couldn’t get laid in a whorehouse if they each had a fistful of fifties.

    2. 5. In 1989 the UN said we had 11 years left to prevent catastrophic global warming. The science was CERTAIN. 97% or more of scientists said so.

      It’s 30 years later and they are repeating the same song.

  5. Watch the the weather broadcast 6 o’clock news they always give the record highs and lows for Sask on that particular day the temp can vary 40 or 50degrees over the years climate change my ass

    What will climate changer warmists harp about when the fall snow starts falling on the summer snow that hasn’t all melted yet?

    1. Davis, it will be a few thousand years, but it will occur no matter how many computer models are used to screw us out of our last dollar.

    2. Yes. Any day now, in geologic terms that might be a few thousand years. I’m not worried but I buy ammo when I can.

      While the exact wording will vary it will include: Higher taxes, government control of every aspect of your life (and death) – so shut up and do as you are told.
