A few years ago, I read somewhere that over 90% of people who have a sex “change” operation commit suicide within five years. The medical people who were trying to “help” them said that this showed it was a psychological problem, not a gender/sexual one. But, this no longer fits the narrative, so they can no longer say such things

The suspension of reality is a problem. You can’t be something you are not, and no amount of surgery will change you on the inside. The “medical profession” as a whole is failing these people by mutilating them. The “I Napoleon” header is so appropriate, we don’t humour people who are mentally disturbed and can’t accept reality, we treat them, help them accept reality, and get them back on their feet.
Forcing people who are not affected by this suspension of reality, to then suspend reality and make believe something that isn’t true, is also an abomination. Made up “genders”, made up “pronouns” and mental gymnastics that progressives have no problem reconciling, but for the rest of the rational population, the cognitive dissonance is impossible to reconcile.
Sorry, these people are ill. They need help, support, and proper treatment. They don’t need to be encouraged to believe they are something they are not, and they certainly don’t need to be mutilated.
