  2. They are racists not just on this issue. The whole basis of woke is that minorities need help to do what whites do for themselves. The hidden meaning of that statement is blacks are inferior.

    To them math is racist to excuse blacks not being as good in math as whites. Deep down, the woke think blacks can never be as good on their own. Actually, to them all STEM is racist. Now, I know it is true that blacks perform worse as a group than whites in the analytic part of the SAT or GRE. I don’t ask why but facts are what they are. But I have also a lifelong friend from UCLA who majored in Math and has worked all these years at IBM. Coincidentally he is black. I have had very good black engineers whom I relied on. I have also known Asians who cannot do math. You take each person for who he is, and hope that the gulf between races in math is mostly due to the environment, and strive to change that. But saying out of hand that math is racist is a racist condemnation of blacks never able to do math.

  3. Yer gotta understand that they, the smart ones that got to go to university know nothing of history, not a damn thing.

    On the other hand they are so well conditioned to the prevailing winds that they possibly fear that if they disagreed they may expect the wrath of the system, the “professors, the administration and their fellow students. As troubling that is, it is the way of foreseeable future.
    Don’t think that because Trump said that there will not be socialism in the US, that it will not happen. They are about half way there. Those Americans that don’t think so should take a stock of what is happening.

    It is a sign of time when socialist/communist members of American congress can proclaim that they are in charge and Democrats, perhaps a few republicans agree and support the BS.

    That is the sign when you’re done in.
    There is no official power that will stop it.
    None, zero, nada.

    In the end, globalism and liberalism are in nobody’s interest. They are recipes for extinction—not only of western civilization but of the entire human race, if not all life on earth.

We all come out of the starting gate with varying levels of ability, certain genetics, varying I.Q., then we’re exposed to different influences like parenting levels, school offerings, extra curricular opportunities. Then we proceed to interweave our abilities and opportunities, but not all of us have the same levels of energy, or the same drive, or the same interest, and so some opportunities slide right by, while other negative attributes take their place. Eventually we arrive at some place where we feel we’re grown up and look back at how we lost direction, or missed those opportunities, or just plain, never gave a care. Overcoming shortcomings, and drawbacks, is not a tool with which we are commonly outfitted. Where you finish, has less to do with race, and more to do with drive. If you ain’t got it, no university, no opportunity is going to get it for you.

  8. Re-segregation is the next logical step after affirmative action. Affirmative action excludes a number of people of other races from admission so why not exclude other races from other campus activities as well. The students interviewed had less of a perspective of history than the people on the street being interviewed and that’s the way the professoriate wants it. The emptier the vessel, the less interference when they pour in the indoctrination. At least the Klansman knew he was a racist while the child abuse victims with student loans haven’t a got a clue. In today’s irritating ebonic jargon, does that make him more “woke”?

  10. To be honest, I can’t entirely condemn the silly college kids for their answers. Today’s political correctness is such a convoluted, contradicting, and illogical mess that it must be impossible for them to keep it straight. And so, they stopped thinking for themselves at a wee tender age, instead opting for the easy following of authority. Now, confronted with what should be a contradiction, they cannot process it for what it is. Instead, they default to the most recent position, that being people of minority need segregation for their own safety.

    Tbe Democrat Party was the party that supported slavery in the 1850’s and 1860’s.

    The K K K was the paramilitary arm of the Democrat Party, and attacked, lynched, and killed White Republicans as well as Black Republicans and Black Freemen throughout the South.

    Now their Democrat Grandchildren support the reimposition of Segregation. What was old in now new and “Woke!”

Personally … I have no problem with black students wanting to live together … so long as white students, Asian students, or whatever identity group that wants to live together, can do so with the same student enthusiasm and support. Like-minded people tend to congregate together. Welcome to the human race, where we are genetically programmed to seek out “our people”. When I attended UC Berkeley … we had ‘Co-op’ housing. Co-op housing was where all the braless, granola-eating hippies congregated. That was a good thing in my estimation. They found housing that made them feeeeeeel comfortable. Cool. No problem. Me? I lived in a fraternity. A fraternity of athletes (mostly water polo). I played rugby … a winger … then a hooker. Yep … my career as a Hooker. My frat brothers were “my people”. Some Olympic quality athletes who were dumb as a box of rocks, and others who were genius engineers who helped me through my own courses. And booze. And sex. And sorority girls. That’s what college is all about. Learning. Fun. Discipline (nobody but YOU making yourself go to class) , a little experimentation. It should be a wonderful time for young adults.

    When did college students become so dour, and sad? Why are college students today … so unhappy and nasty? I suspect our colleges are FILLED with UNqualified students who are struggling to keep up, and are going into a lifetime of soul-crushing debt to earn a completely useless degree in some line of “studies” that some angry twit invented. I think that is what’s making them unhappy … that they don’t really ‘fit’ in college. They’re not cut out for it.

    1. Well since I was in High School . ( late 60’s), we were already being Pushed to go to University…anyone that didnt make the “grade” was of course quietly denigrated shall we say, and off to Commercial or Metal Arts/Woodworking class. Which…I was glad they did.

      After a stint in the military, and bumming around for a few years, I ended up going to college at 36, Got an Engieering Tech Diploma. Now certified as a Senior Quality Inspector-Welding, Alberta Journeyman Welder, CWB Inspector – API570/510 Inspector…. Likely doing as good if not way better than some of my High School contemporaries of back then…but, in the End, really..? I could give a shit. Never had an itch to go to a “Class” reunion….most of them were Snobby ASSholes anyway.

  15. as long as it’s voluntary segregation or voluntary integration, I don’t see anything wrong with that. It’s called freedom of association and it used to be a constitutional right. as long as it applies to whites as well as blacks. government forced is the problem.
