Millions of dollars paid to a phony charity so the Hollywood elite and others can get their dumb kids into top notch universities including Yale, Georgetown, Stanford Wake Forest and several more.
Kids enrolled as student athletes to get into higher learning including one to play soccer while never having taken part competitively. Photo shopping their kids faces over athletes playing various sports as evidence of their sporting prowess. It’s beyond belief.
Part of the scam, according to one news article, was to have professional exam takers take the SAT and Achievements exams for the ritzy high school students. I am a university prof, and the way we check on that, for very large classes, is to have the students have their photo ID out while they write the exam. Why is this not done here, to counter this scam?
Btw, one of the two actresses charged, Filicity Huffman, is a pro-abortion activist who has financially supported NARAL. Just saying.

Comparing the Boeing max-8 to previous 737’s to an apparent new method of providing ‘researched?’ opinion reinforces my apprehension of Aircraft travel as just in thinking it is a probably good machine to carry me to where ever.
Only; having a probably good machine carrying me at an altitude of 35,000 feet, reduces my comfort level and ability to actually make the commitment to travel.
Possibly this uncertainty from an increasingly less professional generation(s) starting with baby boomers/me generation collective acceptance of probably good enough to attract an audience is acceptable in the slow demise of__ Society for Classical Studies __ as a fully acceptable confirmation of diligence and reflection to arrive at a documentable opinion.

They offer courses on activist training, dressed up as pseudo science. And finally, they accept the tuition money, taxpayer money, student loans, and gifts, and pass the responsibility of the debts along to someone else without a care in the world. If you can parlay a birthright, skin color, sex, religion or ideology, into an acceptance letter from a University, who cares if money is your opportunity?
