From The Guardian, no less – The truth behind America’s most famous gay-hate murder
A new twist came last year with the publication of another book, this one by investigative journalist Stephen Jimenez, who has spent 13 years interviewing more than 100 people with a connection to the case. His conclusion, outlined in The Book of Matt: Hidden Truths about the Murder of Matthew Shepard, is that the grotesque murder was not a hate crime, but could instead be blamed on crystal meth, a drug that was flooding Denver and the surrounding area at the time of Matthew’s death. This new theory has, understandably, caused a lot of anger.
I think it’s only right and just that any legislation that was implemented as a result of that false narrative be nullified and overturned forthwith.
BTW I’ve known about the drug rip-off/homosexual lover angle for a few years now. However just try red-pilling anyone who has bought into the “homophobic” redneck angle. You’ll get nothing but angry spittle-laced vitriol.
I agree, and I also knew the real facts of his murder many years ago. I thought everyone did, that it wouldn’t be controversial to say so. Apparently, when the truth contradicts the gay agenda, the truth must be discarded.

Way back in the late 1970’s … I worked a part time job (to pay for my own college $$) at the newly formed GGNRA (Golden Gate National Recreation Area), under the National Park Service. The GGNRA included MUCH of the San Francisco coastline from Marin Co. to Daly City. This included a wild area known as “Lands End”. So what did I learn about Lands End in the late 1970’s? It’s a rustic, isolated spot where gay men took their lovers to MURDER them. Yep. Body, after body was hauled out of the rough terrain or out of the rocky shoreline. All gay men. All relationships gone bad. Nope. Not a single “homophobe” murdering gay men. Always gay men murdering gay men. And although the Park Police and the SFPD knew this well … it was NEVER publicized. Now just imagine if it WERE some psycho-“homophobe” tossing gay men off the cliffs? Do you believe it would STILL be National News … like the Matthew Shepherd case? Of course it would. But dozens upon dozens of gay men offing gay men … IN … the city of gay butt LOVE? *crickets*
You mean like the 8 victims of McArthur here in Toronto. The first cop to interview McArthur let him go as everything seemed okay is now on charges.
Yeah, once you give any new freedom destoying power to government, you never get it back.
That is why breaking up Google is SUCH A GOOD IDEA. Handing ever more power to government has worked out every time we’ve tried it so far. Right?
Oh my. The Guardian commenters really didn’t approve of this. One even cited a Media Matters column (*SNORT*) criticizing Jiminez’s book.

So two gay drug dealers kill a third gay drug dealer and it’s an anti-gay hate crime. There obviously aren’t enough homophobes and racists around because virtually all of the ones we have are made up.
It looks to me that the two murderers tried to stage the murder scene such as to have been perpetrated by anti-gay individuals. This could serve as a cover for the robbery. The nature of the murder scene suggests that and since at least one of the guys was known to participate in gay activities, if they could have gotten rid of the damning evidence (i.e., not gotten into the fight with the two tire-slashers) they could have hidden behind that through a court case if it had ever gotten that far.
