    ISIS bride Shamima Begum’s family last night vowed to take Home Secretary Sajid Javid to court saying his decision to strip her of her British citizenship is illegal.

    Mr Javid yesterday sent Shamima’s family a letter declaring he had taken the decision to ensure the 19-year-old would never be allowed back into Britain after she fled to join Islamic State.

    As international law forbids leaving people ‘stateless’, the Home Office appeared to rely on Shamima’s mother being born in Bangladesh meaning the daughter would qualify for dual citizenship.

    L- Canada should have a law allowing Islamist jihadis to deprived of their citizenship, too.

    Oh, right, we had one! Until P.M. Justin Trudeau decided that someone dedicated to the destruction of all nation-states, including Canada and it’s Constitution. Then imposing Sharia law globally was a (loyal?) Canadian. Rather than prima facie, guilty of High Treason, for choosing to join up/support with the Islamic State.

    Britain has tens of thousands of identified would be jihadis, 25,000 is all they have resources to keep on their active list, so they keep dropping and adding listees, according to their current assessment of immediate and future threat. The Manchester bomber was one who’d been dropped from the list.

    1. Hmm… Though I am no fan of ISIS or Ms Begum, I do believe the British government is on very shaky legal ground here.

      Begum is a British citizen by birth so she’s Britain’s problem child. If the government succeeds, this will set a very bad precedent.

Lots of signs and banners of Che and Marxist slogans. NDP leader Andrea Horwath refused to condemn the racist rants and swearing against Ford. Fight for socialism!!

    I think the investigative article might be under a paywall, so here are the critical paragraphs:

    “Federal prosecutors had already rejected a settlement with SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. nearly two weeks before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with then-attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould about the matter last fall.

    Court documents obtained by The Globe and Mail show that Kathleen Roussel, director of public prosecutions, had informed SNC-Lavalin on Sept. 4 that she intended to proceed with a prosecution on bribery and fraud charges against the Montreal-based engineering giant stemming from its business dealings in Libya.

    Mr. Trudeau has repeatedly said he told Ms. Wilson-Raybould in a Sept. 17 conversation that the decision on the SNC-Lavalin prosecution was hers alone to make, but that concerns were raised about the economic impact of a conviction.

    Under Canada’s new deferred prosecution agreement law, the prosecution service is not allowed to consider national economic interest in deciding whether to settle when a company faces charges under the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act. A conviction for SNC-Lavalin would mean a 10-year ban from federal contracts.

    Until now, publicly available information had indicated that the Prime Minister spoke to Ms. Wilson-Raybould before prosecutors made their decision, announced by SNC on Oct. 10.       No one held his hand nor whispered in his ear behind closed doors while he conducted the ULTIMATE Obstruction of Justice.

      Pulling JWR out of the Department of Justice when she wouldnt listen to Trudeau after their “conversation” on Sept 17 and inserting the current patsy is a show of whos the boss and that responsiblity lies with PM Trudeau.

      1. If I may add, to a lesser extent or of importance, some of them have ruined the elegance and splendour of sartorial flair. They make otherwise beautiful young people look horrible in their over the top foolish and goolish fashion designs. I’ve read that they then overcompensate models and then advise them that a little heroin drug habit might make them skinnier to suit their next season’s rag designs.

        They are mocking all that is dear to heterosexuals. This is toxic to humanity. They should be called out for this. The praise this group sometimes receives is not always deserved.

    I remember a Law and Order episode where a point that the crime in question wasn’t about race after all, which was met by the retort that EVERYTHING IS ABOUT RACE. Now every policy, determination, decision and political belief is about race/identity.
