Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
“The recipient of one of the phone calls was Howard Lorber who is, yes, a “family friend.” But he is also a longtime point of contact in Trump’s ambitions to build a tower in Moscow, which date back to the 1980s. Lorber accompanied Trump on a 1996 visit to Moscow to explore building there. “Howard has major investments in Russia,” Trump boasted to a Russian politician at the time. As Craig Unger notes, Lorber’s dealings in Russia put him in contact with Russian mobsters.”
Tell us about the recent Russia discussion, not from 20+ years ago. Tell us all about it, I’m sure you have more facts to share?
And I thought the DeMarxists were clutching at straws. Stupid like a bag of nails. More “evidence” in search of crimes?
Remember when Trump turned to the Russian foreign minister and asked him to pass on to Vladimir that Mr. Trump would have “more flexibility after the election.” No wait, it was Obama who said that. Is he an agent of Russia too?
Meanwhile, like Andrew, a judge wants to further the big crime narrative by preventing Mr Stone from defending himself in public. Secret show trials are much preferable eh?
“Judge considers gag order in Roger Stone case, blasts ‘public relations campaign’”
That way the Mueller team can leak with impunity and without rebuttal. As Shifty Schiff would say – perfect.

Gowdy knew full well about the FISA court corruption, yet did not bother to let his colleagues in the House understand what had been going on until AFTER they approved a renewed FISA with even MORE powers. God damn him to hell for what he has done to this country.
I’m gonna break it to Trey Gowdy gently … that he didn’t lay a glove on HER. In fact, SHE made HIM to look the FOOL in every hearing he chaired. All bark, no bite … by design.
He’s … retiring … just like Paul Ryan… right? Thought so.
Gowdy is a useful idiot. He’s praising the SIC, which is the most corrupt, entrenched and entitled of all Senate and House committees combined. These bastards had a copy of the unredacted FISA Title 1 application long, long ago. One or more of the members (perhaps all) released it to select members of the press…without ramifications. At the same time, the co-chair of the committee was trying to set up a direct meeting with Christopher Steele outside the public eye.
When someone calls the SIC a “more serious senate panel,” they are part of the problem…and one of the insiders who benefited from their corruption when sitting in office.
