And every time they filmed her arriving at her destination … in some sketchy neighborhoods of Boston, where the poor couple lived, as well as midtown NYC … she simply left her bike on the street. No locks. No removing her front wheel. No chains. Yeah, I know it was only a movie … but I must admit that I rarely locked my bike as a kid. The output volumes are enough to provide fuel for gensets that have been modified for natural gas service.
Can you imagine a premier of Saskatchewan, standing up and saying, in response to Quebec saying “there is no social acceptability for oil in Quebec”; “THERE IS NO SOCIAL ACCEPTABILITY FOR QUEBEC IN THE WEST”?

COUNCILS across the UK are starting to adopt an agreed list of examples of Islamophobia.
However, so far, just three local authoritieshave adopted the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) definition of Islamophobia. No councils in Lancashire have adopted the definition as yet.
Acts of Islamophobia from the list include accusing Muslim citizens of being more loyal to their countries of origin than to Britain, as well as accusing Muslims as a group of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Muslim person.
Oxford City council has this week become the latest in the UK to officially recognise the APPG definition which states:
“Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness.”
The two other councils to adopt the definition are in London.
The list below states examples of Islamophobia that the councils now deem as unacceptable:
• Calling for, aiding, instigating or justifying the killing or harming of Muslims in the name of a racist/fascist ideology, or an extremist view of religion.
• Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Muslims as such, or of Muslims as a collective group, such as, especially but not exclusively, conspiracies about Muslim entryism in politics, government or other societal institutions; the myth of Muslim identity having a unique propensity for terrorism and claims of a demographic ‘threat’ posed by Muslims or of a ‘Muslim takeover’.
• Accusing Muslims as a group of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Muslim person or group of Muslim individuals, or even for acts committed by non-Muslims.

“As of this week, there are 3,127 wells that need to be plugged or abandoned, and a further 1,553 sites that have been abandoned but still need to be reclaimed. There are nearly 90,000 inactive wells across the province.”
That’s about $5-$7 billion worth of clean-up.
Many years ago, I spoke with someone in such a rural area. He mentioned to me that a number of wells were, in effect, abandoned because their output was too low to make them worth maintaining. Rather than letting them sit idle, a number of people started using them to produce electricity. The output volumes are enough to provide fuel for gensets that have been modified for natural gas service.
Can you imagine a premier of Saskatchewan, standing up and saying, in response to Quebec saying “there is no social acceptability for oil in Quebec”; “THERE IS NO SOCIAL ACCEPTABILITY FOR QUEBEC IN THE WEST”?
Neither can I. There is no one who will use the not withstanding clause as a weapon against Canada. There is no one who will break laws for Sask like Horgan has for Environmentology.
