Here is a personal example. Years ago when I was still ranching in Alberta. I needed another dugout for water. The Alberta Ag guy said apply for a grant from the Prairie Dug Out Program, don’t recall the name. So I phoned my Alberta rep for the program. He gave me a number in Quebec, I called the French office of a program for dug outs in Alberta. They could not help me, but gave me a number in Ontario to call. See how it works, The siphoning of Tax Dollars as it passes through all the hands. Anyway Ontario gave me the number of the same government asshole back in Alberta. How it worked is they would give me 25% to start the project, but it had to meet many many federal regulations. Basically by signing on I gave them jurisdiction over my water in my dugout. I told them to shove it up their ass.
