  1. Remember the Gillette ad, the one taking on Toxic Masculinity? Here’s a response called Gillette Venus, Be the Best SHE Can Be.
It’s not a parody. Maybe not for everyone but the point is CLEAR. Toxic knows no gender.

    1. I enjoyed watching that. Touche Gillette. Gillette can stick their ad and their razors where the sun don’t shine.

  2. Spencer Fernando shows us what stuff Andrew Scheer and Maxime Bernier are made of. One of them sees which way the wind blows and the other has some backbone.

“Video Shows Contrast In How Bernier & Scheer Handle Pipeline Question In Quebec

Scheer says they’ll look for “common ground,” Bernier says he would use federal authority to get pipeline through.”

    https://www.spencerfernando.com/2019/01/23/video-shows-contrast-in-how-bernier-scheer-handle-pipeline-question-in-quebec/

    1. I’ve had a feeling for a couple of days that I’d better switch to Bernier. The old saying is “go with your gut feeling”, but I do wish we didn’t have to vote for yet another party. Scheer, stand up or get out!

      1. We should not need another party but the status quo people gave us Sheer. It is time to relegate the conservative/liberal lite party to the dustbin of history.

  3. How the Wall Became America’s Dividing Line – Sultan Kinish

“…The opponents of a wall are also opponents of truth. Not just any specific fact, but the very notion of objective truths. Radicals prefer their facts, like their borders, to be diffuse and subjective. They want ideas to travel across it based on emotional appeals, special pleading and ad hominem attacks rather than by forcing them to abide by the barrier of some fixed and unchanging standard. …”

“…That is why the wall became the country’s dividing line. It is a line that not only divides borders, but concepts. It separates truth from lies and fact from fiction. It embodies the larger struggle not only over what legally makes one an American, but what morally makes one an American.”

    http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2019/01/how-wall-became-americas-dividing-line.html

    1. Democrats voted for the wall in 2006. Obama voted for the wall as senator and supported the wall for the 8 years of his presidency. It is not now, nor ever has been Trump’s wall, it is America’s wall and it needs to be built. America cannot withstand anymore third world welfare immigrants. Canada cannot withstand a further erosion of our culture and society by importing hundreds of thousands of non assimilating welfare immigrants. Is that what the citizens want, a complete destruction of their society, culture and homes?

    1. And, of course, in Canada, this will be amply supported by the government. Such creativity must not be discouraged.

      Since I think it’s rubbish, so I guess I’m a philistine, aren’t I?

  4. Vomit inducing town hall meeting in New Brunswick last night. Trudeau’s CBC of course gave it full coverage. A number of women got up and stated they didn’t have a question, they just wanted a selfie with him. He was more than happy to satisfy their sexual fantasies but I think the media looked jealous. A collection of lesbians, muslims, and indians got up not to ask questions but to state how wonderful he is. Great Leader explained that everything is Harper’s fault, immigration is wonderful, not to worry about silly deficits, etc. etc. He is so wonderful!!

    1. Say I’d hate Canada. I’m from elsewhere but I hate Canada and want to see it destroyed. I couldn’t be happier right now with Justin at the elm.

    2. Canadians are just as gullible as the North Koreans. They believe any kind of propaganda and totally fail to recognize when they are being manipulated.

  5. Welcome to the new America where if your connected to Trump, you can expect the FBI Gestapo to drag you out of your bed in the middle of the night. FBI in combat outfits raided Roger Stone’s home in Florida last night and arrested him. CNN was invited to film the raid. Expect lots of talk about impeachment, and non stop rants on CNN about Russia! Russia! Russia!

  6. Breaking news this morning. Ex-Trump advisor Roger Stone had been indicted and arrested. The Mueller fix is in. Bet there’s cheering at the CBC News and Globe and Mail offices today.

  7. Why our society is falling apart.

“How Refusing To Direct Kids’ Sexuality And Aggression Fuels Identity Politics

The Relation between Identity Politics and Passions

The passions attending sexual morality have been the most persistent, divisive, and corrosive of all of our identity politics.

Identity politics requires two components: an oppressed group (the victims) and the group of oppressors (the victimizers). The oppressors are familiar ones in the cultural wars of identity politics. They are people of faith whose Judeo-Christian values have shaped Western culture for two millennia.

Complicit in trashing the accumulated wisdom of the past is the mainstream media, elite academia, and an entertainment industry that thrives on depicting casual sex and violence. In this debased culture the basic tenets of Christian faith are vilified and believers are denounced as bigots.”

  8. The French Yellow Vest movement is spreading across the EU. I am surprised it has not caught on in Canada. Macron the Moron is cutting a little here and there.
What these out of touch toads like Trudeau and Macron do not understand is that there needs to be a massive downsizing of government at all levels.
Whole programs and departments need to end. The J6P’s of the world have had enough of the tax and spend and massive immigration with no say by the people.
A prime example of this would be the Toronto Sky Dome fiasco. All the idiot greasy politicians of the day. Said it had to be done, we have to have the dome. So they built the Sky Dome for the Blue J’s. Cost over 500M tax dollars. It was sold a few years ago for 50M basically scrap price.
Why were those idoit greasy politicians not tarred and feathered. That is criminal misuse of tax dollars. Way to much government program overlap in Canada.
Here is a personal example. Years ago when I was still ranching in Alberta. I needed another dugout for water. The Alberta Ag guy said apply for a grant from the Prairie Dug Out Program, don’t recall the name. So I phoned my Alberta rep for the program. He gave me a number in Quebec, I called the French office of a program for dug outs in Alberta. They could not help me, but gave me a number in Ontario to call. See how it works, The siphoning of Tax Dollars as it passes through all the hands. Anyway Ontario gave me the number of the same government asshole back in Alberta. How it worked is they would give me 25% to start the project, but it had to meet many many federal regulations. Basically by signing on I gave them jurisdiction over my water in my dugout. I told them to shove it up their ass. The next time a seismic crew came along I hired them with their bull dozers and build my own.

      1. They should be in every Provincial Capital and in Ottawa with pitch forks and huge huge bonfires. Of course the last time Western Canadians attempted a march on Ottawa in the 30’s the bastard RCMP shot a few in Winnipeg basically like in Stalinist Russia.

    1. Our pain tolerance of big government, its virtue signaling, taxes, regulation, and mediocracy apologia hasn’t hurt “enough” yet.

Even if the serfs again revolt, once the real work to clean up the Marxist mess bears fruit, they’ll again turtle to the statists.

You can’t make this up: after Dustin crushed the realty market, disqualified willing and capable buyers, he now plans to make “home ownership more affordable to millennials,” after he made it unaffordable that is.

  9. China vs Canada Goose:

As we reported late last year, shares of Canada Goose – which had previously been one of the best performing stocks listed in Toronto – slumped after China’s domestic press called for a boycott of the brand following the arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou in Canada, just as the company was preparing to open its first mainland-based stores.

I’d rush right out and buy one but I already tried – they don’t fit me.

  10. The flat tire story reminds me of a time I stopped to see if a guy with a flat needed help he had an out of province plate He said no but I can tell I’m in Saskatchewan, your the fifth guy to stop.

  11. remember this story?

allow me to share a copy & paste of my email response:

you goddamn gutless shits. so black lives matter = ONLY black lives matter?
I wonder if some day a bunch of hooligans show up and do a couple million in vandalism and the police tell you that for ‘cultural sensitivity’ reasons
they will leave the response entirely up to uc davis authorities.
    you goddamn cowards.

    no reply yet . . . . .

  12. Ah huh….Daffy the Commando has a beauty of a poster in the background at 1:35, did ya see it?
