    1. It is impressive to look at, isn’t it? I can see some of its details, such as the photovoltaic modules, using my Pentax SLR camera and my zoom lens.

      Many years ago, I saw both the ISS and the space shuttle on the same trajectory during a pass. I first saw what I thought was the ISS, but that was followed by something equally as bright. What had happened was that the shuttle had undocked from the ISS several hours earlier and was getting ready for re-entry.

      One of these days, I’ll have to try and contact the ISS by radio again. It’s actually easy to reach, but the problem is that a lot of hams try to get through when one of the astronauts is on the air. In addition, when they are using the on-board amateur radio station generally isn’t scheduled unless it’s a school contact.

        1. Good work,Watcher. I’ve been trying to explain the influence of the Desmarais family for years but people simply don’t believe one family can have so much power in Canada. It almost makes me cry when I hear people tell em how voting for another party other than the one that happens to be in power at any given time, will make a big difference to us. Not if their plans offend Desmarais.

          Was disappointed to read that Max Bernier is also a Power Corp. acolyte, wasn’t surprised Peter McKay is, but didn’t know about Max.

            The Head of the Privy Council is theoretically the Sovereigns Direct Voice in Parliament. All modern governments got rid of the Privy Council a 4th Order of Unelected Government. Except Canada naturally and Britain.

        Surprisingly missing from that article was any mention of Maurice Strong…he having been a Prominent member of Power Corp and also one charged and I believe, Convicted in Absentia over the Food for Oil Program of the ’90’s (Iraq), and upon conviction, split and moved to Mainland China. He was also a Long time UN Proponent for the De-Industrialization of the West & De-Population of the Planet – pretty much identical to the Current Globalist – Climate Change Agenda….one who Gerald Butts obviously looked up to.

        (Strong was also prominent at the 1st World Conference on the Environment in Brazil…1992 I believe)

      Like all Russian spacecraft Soyus lands hard on the ground after a fairly quick decent.

      We are floating, falling, exercising, and flying in space with real super heroes, Suni Williams and Kevin A. Ford, who is behind the camera. This is a great look inside of the ISS. Suni Williams was incredibly informative. She’s been there long enough to know about every aspect that would interest her viewers, without involving us into the many details of their work. I especially enjoyed the visit to the “cupola” at 12:00, which was to get a heavenly view of Earth! It just blows one’s mind! She identified a continent!

      This shows how well different countries can work together and what we are able to achieve when we work together. This is the greatest human achievement.

      Plus, you can do single leg squats. How cool!

Just slap on some solar panels and voila, you and your Dem friends can fly peacefully around the country. Oh and fill the dirigibles with hydrogen gas. No need to extract helium from natural gas. Solar powered Dirigibles solve the problem of air travel, since you won’t be able to develop and build hydrogen powered passenger planes in 12 years. I ‘m sure the owners of Goggle, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, etc. will all line up to give you billions for solar powered dirigibles. Just ask them! And if they don’t put their money where your mouth is, well you lead a boycott (personcott? 🙂 ) of their products?

    A Saskatchewan hunter has set a new world record after bagging what conservation officials are calling a “deer of a lifetime.”

    Dennis Bennett, a member of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF), was hunting in the Arm River area when he managed to shoot a massive non-typical mule deer on Oct. 1, 2018, according to a news release from the SWF.

    The deer was measured on Oct. 7 by officials with Henry Kelsey Big Game Records, the official record-keeping system for big game in Saskatchewan, and scored a 293-6/8. The previous record of 290 was set in the 1920s by Nelson Clark.

    1. We have conducted two important experiments on socialism versus capitalism. Experiments where cultural differences, imperialism, colonialism, and racism do not influence the results .

      The first, East Germany vs West Germany. West Germany gave us Mercedes and many other fine cars. East Germany gave us one of the worst cars in history, the Trabant.

      The second example, Soth Korea vs North Korea. South Korea is prosperous and innovative. North Korea, under an Ocasio style government, can’t feed itself.

      Would you like the innovation of East Germany and North Korea?

      How about the innovation of the Soviets?

      How about the innovation of Venezuela?

      The only thing Ocasio will innovate is new forms of misery.

Ordinary Canadians are starting to realize how disconnected Justin Trudeau, his cabinet, senior advisors and its policies are from the wants, needs and aspirations of average Canadians. The Liberals endlessly spout about social justice as ordinary Canadians worry about their jobs, taxes, mortgages and retirement.

    Canada remains the only major hydrocarbon producing country in the world intentionally economically self-immolating its largest and most important resource industry; without reducing global or even domestic GHG emissions.

          It’s always disappointed me, as a western Canadian, to find out that my vote didn’t matter in a federal election because, by the time the polls closed in my riding, it had already been won by PET, courtesy of Quebec and southern Ontario.

          It makes one wonder whether the electoral college system that the Americans have (and some of whom wish to abolish) might actually have some merit.

    At the Women’s March, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused the Trump administration of anti-Semitism. Does she have any evidence? Will the news media ask?

    Conservatives have been criticized in recent month for not taking Ocasio-Cortez seriously enough; the congresswoman herself levels this charge often. Well, many of us do take her very seriously. It is clear that she has amassed not just the power of her elected office, but also a major megaphone in our political discourse. It is precisely because Ocasio-Cortez has so much power that she must be asked to explain her smear against the White House.

  13. Something else we need to go after Trudeau on when he’s running around reading his scripts from his writers is the illegal immigration situation….irregulars bedamned. They are being dumped in communities and the communities/provinces have to deal with them with no help from the government. No point asking Ralphie Goodale, he’s too busy bobbing his head and saying nothing.
    Immigration is not being taken seriously by this crew of incompetents running the country into ruin. Just bring them in, the people will take care of them and pay the tab. Who they are doesn’t seem to matter either. What they might be bringing into the country isn’t of concern , we could be seeing diseases we’ve long ago wiped out or never heard of.
    Meanwhile, the Liberals are all out on the hustings touting how well Canada is doing with the scripted Trudeau leading the charge in his famous breathless, nasal tone the uninformed find so appealing.

  14. What year will California and the EPA regulate the ICE out of the USA? Serious question. This assumes that there is even one manufacturer that will make a rational decision.

    How many regulations does it take, to make that first company say “well, no one is going to buy a diesel engine, that will pass the tests, at the price we could profitably sell it at, so we are not going to ship any more diesels to California”?

    And how long after that, does it take the second and third companies to follow suit?

    In truth, I do not think rational decision making exists any longer in the business world; so why bother with a virtue signalling stock market?

  19. The media is excited that our Somali Invasion Minister was ranting today that the Conservatives want to militarize the Canadian border and place a Mountie every hundred yards. Sounds good to me. And it must be election time in Alberta. The CBC and the NDP have ganged up to promote a fake news story about Jason Kenny abusing housing expenses while a federal cabinet minister. Funny how this story has only come up now after all these years. Information on the story is vague of course.

  23. The CBC had a lawyer on tonight explaining that Canada should submit to the Chinese and release the executive being held for extradition. After the interview they had their nightly panel on to discuss the situation. Big Chief Pam of the famous Ryerson University tribe also explained that Canada should release her and give in to China. She explained that the poor Chinese woman’s rights were being abused. Yes its rough being confined to a multi million mansion and only allowed to shop in Vancouver. Unlike those Canadians having a good time in a Chinese prison.
