“I”m as mad as Hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!” – these were merely words from a movie but one wonders if they also don’t represent a growing chorus of American voters who are downright fed up with the ridiculous antics of unhinged Leftist buffoons who seem intent on upending every last part of society.
In his tweet above, Peterson is referencing Heather MacDonald’s latest piece in City Journal, in which she juxtaposes the lawsuit against Harvard’s discriminatory admittance policies with the campaign to destroy Brett Kavanaugh. Both are driven by identity politics and the underlying hatred towards all white men.
You can’t believe in “affirmative action” without believing in rejecting people because of their race. For every black guy who gets in because he is black someone more qualified was rejected to being Asian, or white.
If you don’t have affirmative action programs the number of blacks in university would be miniscule, so you will end up with a large disaffected underclass who are never going to get ahead in life. If you have affirmative action, you will have a disaffected underclass of qualified people who can’t get ahead because they have been discriminated against in favour of others.
Diversity is our strength.
1) Harvard is private – they can do what they want
2) Harvard has 42 sports teams – men and women. Try building a football team with Asians. 20% of Harvard undergrads
play sports. Tell Asians to lift weights, run and contribute.

Being angry at discriminatory policies doesn’t make one a racist, dear. You sound like your from DU. So all of a sudden “asians” get sympathy for the discrimination against them at Universities, but whites, who have been facing the same problem for decades get no mention? No one points out how many of these asians are non-citizens coming from overseas to study. I wonder how many, if any, native citizens are being displaced by them because colleges recruit them specifically, knowing their parents will pay full freight for an over priced tuition?
I agree. Most “Asians” vote against the rest of this country’s interests and have never complained about the plethora of race based accommodations given them in other areas, so why should I care? At some point, we have to go after ALL affirmative action programs because they discriminate against white males, and white families, PERIOD. Most “asians” in the U.S. make far more money than the native people of any race, so cry me a river.

My youngest WHITE son is in a LTR with a half-black, half-Asian woman who holds a PhD from a top-2 West Coast University … in microbiology. Perhaps THATS the way to beat Harvard’s racist admission policies … every Asian applicant should CLAIM as much “Black” genealogy as Elizabeth Warren claimed to be “native”? So which “color” contributed to my son’s girlfriend’s success? Black? or Yellowish-white? (*snicker*). Of course, you know the answer … neither. Or HOW did she overcome her gender-handicap? What she had was an intact family of both mother and father who loved their children and drove them to be their best. Her “black” father was a Tiger-dad, and Asian mother a Tiger-mom. My son’s girlfriend is very-very bright, but I wouldn’t call her a “genius” … what she is, is a highly disciplined, organized, hard-working quick-study of everything she encounters. She is someone who might just cure cancer … because she is relentless, and strives for greatness. Yeah … she’s everything that made Harvard REJECT her application. Harvard has turned itself into a JOKE, and any corporation who gives preferential hiring to Harvard grads is going to pay a heavy price for their stupidity.
And let me add another observation. The Left … in their quest for “equality” … tries to “place” Little Black kids into “white” society. You know … that culture and society they deride. First they tried … Bussing. Then affirmative-action programs. Then, all the teachers (my wife included) paired black students with white and Asian students for class projects. And now … HUD (under Obama) was forcing wealthy white/Asian communities to build low-income housing by overriding zoning regulations. All in an effort to expose black kids, by social osmosis, to the successful WHITE society.
The problem is … it doesn’t work that way. I don’t live in a nice home in a very nice community … because I am “white”. My first employer (an Asian partnership) didn’t hire me because I was white … they hired me because of my portfolio and personality. One doesn’t “absorb” success by social immersion. Success is determined by PERSONAL drive and achievement. You cannot “fake” self-esteem.
And what children need for success … the Left has torn to pieces … a family. A loving and supportive mother and father. Me? I didn’t have one of those, but I had a Swedish grandmother who was THEE most Tiger-Mom of Tiger-moms. She insisted that I do my homework, write neatly, sit up straight, and strive for perfection. The left mocks and hates such parenting … and then turns around and calls it … privilege. You want equality? You will find it in Healthy families. The radical politics of the students is a scam. The day after graduation, they all get their hair cut, shave, and head off to privileged positions on Wall Street ( overwhelmingly Ivy League), Washington, the law, or other high paying careers that are the due of the cognitive elite.
In truth, we should be glad the self-annointed elite are willing to condescend to making all of our decisions for us. The simple answer is that they don’t hear how crazy they sound to people outside of their cult. The woke hears “letting asians in, even when based on meritocracy, will also allow in too many white kids and white people are evil and privileged” so anti-asian racism somehow become a positive and beneficial form of racism. Normals hear the woke left say “we must discriminate against Asian students to preserve racism against white students” and the normals naturally think racism against asian and white kids are both wrong.
The wokeleft fundamentalists genuinely do not see how irrational their thinking is to everyone else. It’s very similar to surreal conversations I’ve had with a fundamentalist evangelical coworker and a Jehovah’s Witness aunt about their religious beliefs. In pretty much every other subject, they were pleasant and rational but those religious beliefs were a huge, impenetrable blind spot. If challenged at all, the coworker would get visibly angry (flushed) and verbally aggressive. The intellectual acrobatics required to defend obviously flawed thinking was a sight to behold. See any similarities? The woke left is indistinguishable from other religious fundamentalists. You really can’t reason a person out of a belief that wasn’t formed by reason.
