How about true equality? Don’t have men’s and women’s events, just have one. That way we can avoid the need for 22 different gender catagories.

Simple solution: drop all references to male and female sporting competitions and simply refer to “XX chromosome events” and “open events”. Identify as a ring tailed opossum if you like, but if your chromosomes are anything other than XX, you’re in the open category. There, problem solved.
Likewise with washrooms: no reference to male or female, simply “penis” & “non-penis”. If you’ve identified with the non crowd and had the offending attachment removed then your commitment to the cause gets you in the “non” washroom. If it’s still there, you can identify as a yellow-bellied sapsucker if you like but too bad, so sad, use the “with” washroom. Once again, problem solved.

Yes, JSC but we traditional, rational human beings have apparently had our day. Using my method the PC crowd will have nothing to get hot and bothered about; the criteria for classification will have nothing to do with gender, sex or any other PC obsession and those of us remaining normal human beings can refer to “men’s” and “women’s” competitions in the comfort of our own living rooms in front of the TV. And what you and I refer to as “women” will be able to enter sporting competitions and compete fairly amongst themselves unbothered by some guy “self-identifying” as whatever.

We had traditionally classed human being as one of two sexes, to wit male and female. Now we have this newfangled that a person’s perceived, or claimed, gender somehow is more important than his sex. I say, at least for sports, we drop the gender classification and go back to sex.

Ironically, this self-identity transwomen athlete fiasco will undermine the social construction theory of gender. If transwomen athletes win every women’s competition they enter, and only lose to other transgendered women,then how will the social construction theory, that there’s no biological differences between men and women, survive. Statistically, it would be impossible for transwomen athletes to win every competition they enter if they are exactly the same as women with no xy biological advantage. Or is culture making transwomen bigger, stronger, faster than all xx competitors? For the same reason, it shows the absurdity of transactivists insisting there’s no differences between XX-women and xy-women. Transwomen athletes showing obvious physical differences (the body) will open the door to the “realization” that there are also psychological differences (the brain).
How has it survived up till now? Only by willfully ignoring mountains of evidence. I see no reason why they can’t continue doing so.
