  1. I’ve golfed in winds like that. Not well mind you. Wee breeze according to the Scots. Listen. We all understand these weather events have to be reported on. It’s a major storm causing destruction and unfortunate deaths. But this idiot should of been fired the second this aired. It’s FAKE and they don’t even care anymore.

    You wanna feel the wind, go check it out, any day, any time, day and night. 100k/h is yer basic.
    Go fill up at Shell in Pincher Creek and hold on. For some reason that spot gets the wind.

    1. our annual golf tournament at Waterton…..now there is a challenge to get your ball to land anywhere close to the fairway!

    2. I’ve cycled there. Head into the wind, as far as you can stand it, then turn around. You’ll be in Swift Current before you know it, without turning a pedal.

      1. Can’t disagree at all. The casualty count in early November 2017 was something like 55. There seems to be a bit of a discrepancy. Is somebody mistaken?

  15. Always enjoyable to watch the storm reporting as everyone tries to pretend they are a second/millimeters away from destruction and death. The reporter canoeing in the deep while folks wander by in ankle deep water is a favourite but the all time best is when Geraldo Rivera gets knocked on his ass.

    This looks bad, obviously. But FWIW, in @MikeSeidel’s defense, the channel noted that “the 2 individuals in the background are walking on concrete” while he’s on wet grass, and he was “undoubtedly exhausted” from constant live shots…**

  20. when the wind picks him up and he is flying through the air screaming I will pay attention. I have sat out the day in Florida with 90 mile an hour winds and lots of rain. a few mobiles were turned over and trees pulled up, but no one did anything other than watch the storm and stay indoors.
