    1. It “wood” be interesting to hear from Maritimers, where the majority of rural dwellers have wood primary or backup systems in their homes. Every second house seems to sport a firewood stockpile, neatly arranged at the side of their yards.

    1. I think Canada is pretty much run by the globalists — the UN with directives from Soros. Liberal policies are straight Agenda 2030 (the women’s agenda, aboriginal agenda, environment, etc.) — it is all spelled out by the UN agenda. I believe Soros does not want a NAFTA deal. His goal is to take down the US. Canada is quite obliging in this regard. There will be no NAFTA deal. Who in the government speaks for Canada? No one as far as I can tell. Of course Trudeau does not run anything. Today he is kicking up his heels at the Ukrainian festival in Toronto. He is such a sham.

    In France, over the last 10 years rape convictions are DOWN 40%, (making smug, sneering UnMe thrilled).

    * In 2007, there was 1,652 convictions by the criminal courts for this crime, including 1,350 for aggravated rape,
    * In 2016, the number was 1,003 convictions, including 851 for aggravated rape, according to data published on September 6, 2018, without any explanation.

    HOWEVER ….. (a real head-scratcher)

    In France over the past 10 years rape claims are UP 40%.

    * 14,130 women declared being victims of rapes in 2016, i.e. 40% more than ten years ago. And the police believe that only one in ten rape victims lodges a formal complaint. The untold underlying reason is that many perpetrators are of Middle-East and African origin, and will not be prosecuted.

      An increase in rape reporting can be due to a culture shift ie women being more empowered to report, or changes in the definition of rape ex Sweden. There’s still no evidence of a European rape epidemic.

      1. Yes, that is possible, but it is not correct in this case UnMedicated. Sweden has interesting legal categories for rape, what is calle date rape here is just considered rape, and what we normally think of as rape they call stranger rape. Stranger rape is WAY up in Sweden, and the description of the perpetrators are almost exclusively non-Swedish.

        But hey, don’t let facts interfere with you day job, I understand that in a Trudeau economy, work as a shill is still work.

        1. I think there’s a problem with over-broad definitions of rape imposed by ultra-feminists in Sweden’s government and apathetic law enforcement, topped off with a-holes whose sole focus in all this is how to pin it on brown people.
