  1. I just watched the first segment. What would have made it complete for me would have been a belch from the machine after it devoured the last bits of the vehicle.

  2. It is unfortunate that the cars are destroyed.

There is some interesting ‘yard’ art out parked all over the place that I’ve seen over the years. There was an old 1950s 1/2 truck parked out in a field and the back end was planted with red petunias that looked wonderful. Also saw an old 70s Volkswagon Beetle suspended in front of a business advertising what the business was: car parts, what else. It was ingenious!

  3. I met a woman today from out of town and we struck up an interesting conversation about Trump. She’s a Canadian who has been living in the U.S. for the last 30 plus years. They love THEIR President and what good things he’s accomplished so far. She had no doubt that the Republicans will do well in the November elections and that he is going to win a second term. Most presidents do, when their even half as good. We commiserated about Canada. She said that if Trump wins a second term, she was going to become an American citizen.
See how sad we are! There’s no heart left at ‘home,’…. she is a down home ‘kinda gal’, from Saskatchewan.

Same here, wish we had someone like Trump.
We’re damaged beyond repair. This woman was very aware that Canada was post national.

“Twelve Invisible Eco-Catastrophes and Threats of Doom That are Actually Fake

Guest essay by Patrick Moore, PhD”

“Some time ago it struck me that the majority of alleged environmental catastrophes and threats are invisible or very remote, thus making it virtually impossible for the average person to validate them through observation.

Observations, along with replications of those observations, are the very foundation of the scientific method.

Seeing is believing, and seeing the same result again and again under similar circumstances reinforces the belief.

Is it possible that activist groups and the media choose to cite supposed catastrophes and threats that are invisible, very remote or both because the majority of people cannot verify them in person and therefore must rely on the activists, the media, and other third parties to tell them the truth? At the conclusion of this essay, the reader may judge.

Here’s a list of some of the alleged invisible catastrophes and threats of doom, beginning with one of the former.

    1. Thanks for that link. Unfortunately, the masses have been so successfully dumbed down by our education system, hysteria and fear mongering is the only thing they respond to.

    1. Yes, but wind “doubled” from .25%. It doubled I tell you; doesn’t that prove it’s going to replace carbon fuels.

At this rate, it will only take 400 years.

    Part of the judgment:

It is desirable for a society that information flows as freely as possible. However, no proof of expertise has been offered during this trial regarding the existence of mechanisms guaranteeing a real and genuine information on the web when it is published by “citizens.” The Tribunal concludes that, to this day, these mechanisms are only in operation in the field of professional journalism. “The War Against Tommy Robinson

Tommy Robinson was released this week from a British prison after his contempt of court conviction was not merely quashed but scathingly condemned on appeal. Here, with videos and a link to that ruling, is the genesis and gist of England’s disgrace

Because of restrictions imposed by an English court, this article could not be published in the UK, either in print or on any online forum. In the interests of freedom of speech and the proper rule of law, it was first published on Quadrant Online and again in Quadrant itself. The version below is from our July-August edition”

“The rule of law is fragile, and relies on the self-restraint of the majority. In a just society, the majority obey the law because they believe it represents universal values—moral absolutes. They obey the law not for fear of punishment, but for fear of the self-contempt that comes from doing wrong.

As children, we are told that the law is objective, fair and moral. As we grow up, though, it becomes increasingly impossible to avoid the feeling that the actual law has little to do with the Platonic stories we were told as children. We begin to suspect that the law may in fact—or at least at times—be a coercive mechanism designed to protect the powerful, appease the aggressive, and bully the vulnerable.

    1. The media reported he had pled guilty while he was not offered a plea. The was no trial. His lawyer was told he was being released so not to come to court. Neat country they’ve got going there. Is that what they mean by shithole countries?

Of course, the devil is actually in the details… the details
you won’t hear on the CBC

apparently by a caucasian male with long hair,
who just happened to be at the fairgrounds on
the reserve. wonder if we’re gonna have an
        update/correction on that anytime soon.
