  1. The deep state (both American and Canadian) exists and is a threat to every Jack and Jill’s existence. Government like fire is a wonderful servant but a terrible master.

    1. Remember when Anwar Sadat was assassinated by his own troops while they paraded by. Sadat had started a process where government workers would be hired on merit and not by seniority on a waiting list. That list was 8 to 9 years long at the time.

      What did that mean in real terms? Egypt was graduating thousands of students from their university system. More than could find employment. The ‘waiting list’ was a indirect contract that if you behaved you would be rewarded with a job. No job or prospect one meant no means of income and no marriage. The Muslim Brotherhood gained a foothold over this.

      I often ask myself how is that any different in North America. Sure, no waiting list for a government job, but still graduation of 100’s thousands of young people with no meaningful job opportuntiy. A class of relatively well educated people exist who make their living interrupting the world to the humble and uneducated masses. If that means twisting the truth to get that next study grant on climate change then so be it. If that means slanting media news to gain readership or support progressive causes, then so be it. It is the old ‘rice bowl’ reality.

      Needless to say the socialist/communist are exploiting this reality to the fullest.

    2. I think the original quote was a troublesome servant, but a fearful master. Meaning managing it is a constant and tiresome task to which most voters in a democracy don’t pay enough attention. When government escapes our control it will wreck our country, like a fire destroys the house it was supposed to warm.

  3. As an ex- military intel analyst I am baffled anyone who fails an administrative review of his/her security clearance retains access. He should have been given a “change of circumstances” status and removed from TS only areas. Then again all those areas passwords, door combo keys, area passes, etc all have to be changed as per law. All 5 eyes countries have same regulations in this case, so Canada is not different.

  4. Only slightly off topic. Did anyone notice that Jim Jordan made a fool out of Rosenstein and suddenly Jordan is in the firing line of the corrupt law firm that worked so well with the FBI/DOJ during the Clinton’s disinformation campaign against Trump? Coincidence?

    1. And his nephew was killed in a car accident this a.m… Not related i’m sure.. but..

        1. It would be an interesting study to do a statistical analysis on the likelihood of being a relative of or a member of the GOP that and dying or injured in a car accident and find out if said relatives/members have a statistically significant shorter life span.

  5. The FBI and DOJ remain totally OUT OF CONTROL! Congress needs to formally disband both Departments, fire everyone, investigate everyone … then rebuild these bureaucracies from the ground up. Anyone not measuring up to their FULL commitment to the US Constitution and the RIGHTS granted to citizens against ILLEGAL search, seizure … and spying … and invention of dossiers … and paying political operatives for dirt on politicians … should be excluded from these Agencies. Inotherwords … clean out the Democrap operatives. Clean out ALL the Obama emplants. Soon. Real soon.

      2. Agreed, yet I remain ever optimistic that Congress (The Peoples Representatives) regains proper oversight and regulation of the DOJ, FBI, et al Agencies.

        As Abraham Lincoln once said … That government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

        The People of the United States of America have simply GOT to regain and retain control of our Federal Agencies. If not … our Nation WILL perish from the Earth … via a conspiratorial leftist Obama-Party coup.

            The simple fact is both parties are lying to their base… We live under the rule of LAW…The odds of Overturning anything are slim to nil…It is what makes America,.. America.. not to be looking back.. Key word “precedent” respect insures we don’t get fools
