“…whereas in today’s modern economy greed, envy, and jealousy can be avenged through progressive taxation, in an AI economy, there is no wealth or income to confiscate. Additionally, you can’t very well “transfer looks” or “transfer talent” much like socialists today “transfer wealth,” so how do the jealous normies, conformies, commoners, and inferiors get their pound of flesh?”

Definitely, one of the Captain’s best critiques. If we are on the verge of a new utopia(A.I. unlimited productivity).
What has human nature produced, as our wealth and productivity reaches unprecedented levels?
His list of the new pseudo-religious doctrines, now substituting for ancient wisdom, is hilarious, but true.
Now a social media providing almost totally equal access. All set for an era dominated by the hierarchy of the creative and it’s audience thereof.
But no, this emerging age of creativity risks being crushed/censored by low I.Q., heavily indoctrinated Marxist zealots. The emerging class, isn’t the creative, the productive. Instead it’s the opposite.
It’s the shaman class of High Priest/Priestesses censoring creativity with the label “Here Be Dragons ! “.
They remind me of the Athenian Sophists and Cynics that destroyed the Greek democracy.

It also paints a dystopian future but in a different light and with a different solution……. and perhaps one not necessarily popular in it’s concepts today (essentially, eugenics and culling).
But then as that famous philosopher said, “Making predictions is hard, especially about the future.” I try to remain optimistic.
Every-time I read about robots taking over the world, I remember this.

I think I recall that Valerie Jarret’s Mother was involved with the development of Sesame Street.. That starts the mind conditioning starting @ 2 or 3 years of age… Worth a spin to identify and undue the embedded theme of group thought…
wow.
I’m gonna have to revise my long held prediction about a microscopic group owning everything in existence in the future.
