There goes the narrative.
“President Trump should win the Nobel Peace Prize. What we need is only peace,” Moon told a meeting of senior secretaries, according to a presidential Blue House official who briefed media.
More winning! White House Correspondents’ Association denounces Michelle Wolf speech

No I don’t think Trump should get the Nobel peace prize nor should Obama have. The significance of their efforts will be in the ‘pudding’. Obama failed and the odds of Trump success with the Nork’s are not good. I believe Mandala got the prize for South Africa reconciliation and we can all see how that is failing.
Sadat and Begin’s peace treaty has stood the test of time. Just recently Egypt and Israel signed a co-development agreement on natural gas.
There was some talk of President Trump responding to a call for the Nobel Prize with this, “Peace is the goal” … an entirely different response than what I’ve become accustomed to from the President during the past “ME ME, it’s all about ME” President Hussien O’bama.
“I just want to get the job done” … seems to be the way the current administration really does look at things.

Most of the writers on the left are like the Mississippi River after a major flood: fifteen miles wide and 2 inches deep. Mr. David A. Graham of The Atlantic certainly is.
But I have compassion for them. Put yourself in their place. You wake up in the morning and your first thought is “what negative opinion piece can I write about Trump today?” I mean to say, after 365 mornings of this doesn’t it become much like a factory assembly line where (for example) day after day you mount tires to a car or some such repetitious thing like that. Pity the fools…… I rarely read them as the title of the article usually says it all. Negativity is a downer.
As to the “Nobel Peace Prize”, well a strong case can be made for Kim Jong-Un…….this assuming that he actually carries through and meets the conditions set forth…… verifiable destruction of nuclear capacity and all missiles, etc.
Yes, really. The fact that he was forced into this position is not relevant. His prestige at home will take a big hit and in the oriental world lose of “face” is a horrible thing (so I’m told) .
Truth be the significance of this (again assuming it actually happens) is that China, Japan, U.S., and even Russia worked together to bring it about. I give Trump full credit for forcing the issue but it was an international effort that brought it about. Trump will be rewarded in other more meaningful ways than some bogus award whose value is nearly zero.
Yes, the Nobel committee will present the PP to co-winners Kim and Moon, NOT Trump.
If the wall were to come down, it would be a repeat of the East – West German re-unification. The North Koreans would travel south and see the standard of living that a Capitalistic economy provides and the freedom of choice it provides and they will demand that. The South Korean Entrepreneurs would travel North and see nothing but opportunity for development and building. It would be great.
The only impediment would be as I see it is whether the North Korean Army would crack down on the movement or fold like they did in Germany where they refused to kill their own people.
The Jury is still out on this. But let’s pray for success.
In that scenario,I wonder if Koreans would do as the Germans did (Merkel) and elect a national leader from North Korea? Maybe Kim can be grand Prez of all United Korea
A few good meals for the NK soldiers and their families will solve that problem.
Trump gives himself all the credit, he imho only deserves full credit, and Moon, to whom the compliment was directed, agrees.
Early days; so far all talk, no action. We will see but if Trump gets NK to verifiably end its nuclear weapons program.
Moon seems to think peninsular peace has already qualified Trump for the Prize.
Seriously though, does anyone think the folks who gave the Prize to Obama and Arafat will confer it on evil Trump?
The bonus is watching leftists & never Trumpers desperately seeking any negative spin their tortured minds can conjure.
“Un”successfully if you ask “me” and now it seems Kim agrees, with his family’s and the military economy drying up.
As for DeMarxism; too bad, so sad. Nonetheless they see themselves as an impeachment away from total political power.
This so-called denuclearisation is a stalling tactic.
If Trump wants to defeat this thing, he can continue putting sanctions on China and demand a regime change in North Korea.
Why would trumpy deserve a Nobel Prize? He isn’t black.
Apparently Trump doesn’t deserve the Nobel Peace Prize because there’s a courageous act of rudeness and vulgarity that does:

I’m reminded of the comment made by Tom Lehrer. According to him, when Henry Kissinger won the NPP, satire died.
When’s the next flight to Mars?
I would like Trump to go full “Bob Dylan” on the Nobel Joke Prize. Zimmey was “too busy” to show up and collect his “prize”. He left The Nobel Committe standing at the altar. However, Bobby learned that in order to collect the $cash prize (near $1 million) … the recipient has to turn-up in Sweden … and recite his Nobel vows at the altar of the leftist Nobel chapel. So Bobby finally found time in his busy schedule to complete the transaction.
MY President has no need for a paltry $million. He’s no “community organizer”, who BEGS$ for a living. He actually built REAL things in the REAL world … and made $profits doing so. Yes, Barrack … Trump did BUILD that!
I personally don’t believe the Nobel Committe would RISK being humiliated by a Trump snub … so they will award the prize (again) to; Barrack Hussein, John F. Kerry, and Valerie Jarret … for creating ME “Peace” via the “Iran deal”. Thereby sidestepping any acknowledgement whatsoever of Korean Peace.
The Altering of the Deal…
‘Henry Kissinger is known to have been advising
President Donald Trump on China and North Korea issues
over the past year’
Joseph Bosco, TheDiplomat.com 1-29-18
“So President Trump will have to find a definition of the American role
that answers the concern of many parts of the world that America
was giving up its indispensable role of leadership in some categories –
and major contribution in others – and to define what and where
America can lead and where it must contribute and in that process
help in the creation of an international order.”
Henry Kissinger, 1-20-17
“China would also have a stake in the political evolution of North Korea
following denuclearization, whether it be a two-state solution or unification,
and in restrictions on military deployment placed on North Korea.
Heretofore, the administration has urged China to press North Korea
as a kind of subcontractor to achieve American objectives.
The better—probably only feasible—approach is to merge the two efforts
and develop a common position jointly pursued with the other countries involved. “
Henry Kissinger, 8-11-17
The Altering of the Deal…
Flashback – April 2017

The US government’s goals for the Syria strike can be deduced from the background role
of one the most powerful diplomats in American history: Henry Kissinger. The former secretary of state, once accused by the late Christopher Hitchens of complicity in US “war crimes” in Latin America and south-east Asia, has been a key advisor to Trump in negotiating US relations with Russia and China. Kissinger was previously a secret national security consultant to President George W Bush, and under Obama was directly involved
in the US National Security Council’s chain-of-command. He also frequently advised Hillary Clinton during her term as secretary of state.
Yeah, yeah … slime MY President with Henry Kissinger … and the NWO Globalist warmongers. I imagine your brain is in the same current condition as John McCain’s … synapses being liquidated at an increasing pace.
