  1. This is what you get when you elect a buffoon who states “I admire China’s basic dictatorship.”

Widespread corruption and leaders for life like Xi’s acolytes telling foreigners what they should do in their own countries…
Lu Shaye should be back in China running the printing press to create inflation on the renmimbi so their economy doesn’t run out of gas due to currency appreciation.

Here’s a little advice from “Hong Kouver”; don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

    Prosit!

    1. the chirese keyed onto the ‘basic dictatorship’ quip. TURDoo is a verbal toxic spill by comparison.
chirer has NEVER in 5 friggin plus THOUSAND years had anything sufficiently resembling a democratic tradition, and given their culture will not for another 1000 plus years. wtf is there to ‘admire’ about that?

I did a research paper in 2011 suggesting chirer will become a world power for the second time, for the first time ever of all the world powers. this kind of pronouncement shows *they* believe it too.

  2. Trudeau’s vision of (post-national, sharia-compliant, gender-balanced, Soros vassal) Canada is to be owned by China and ruled by sharia. He doesn’t have to do anything after that.

    1. I dunno how that would work out. Sounds like what the Uyghurs want to do in Xinjiang Province in China. That’s a tough one there, who do you root against more, the Muslims or the Chicoms?

  3. Considering that Canada farms out almost everything and owns almost nothing, it’s a good thing we have tourism and a carbon tax to keep our economy going. As long as treehuggers allow our oil sands to continue operating , Trudeau can continue to play Santa all over the world, and he would be wise to listen to his masters ,…. not upset them, because if China takes their toys and goes home he would no longer have the ability to squander taxpayers money on Bombardier, the Clinton foundation and so many other pet projects. China is simply reminding him who’s the boss.

  4. “Beijing envoy scolds Ottawa ….”

See what you get to do when the Prime Mincer is beholden to ya!

  5. Mop and Pail? Exposing LIBERAL politicos for corruption? Did the M&P reporter not get their free lunch for a day?

  6. Whoops, cat out of the bag or Asian tiger in this case… nice pussy, nice pussy, my what a huge and growing teeth and claws(military) you have.

China’s sovereign wealth fund, trillion plus, is for their own political/economic benefit and no reason why it would not be.

So is recently declaring their leader to be a leader for life… is that ringing any alarm bells?

Now you might understand why Pres. Trump signed off on a budget whose only major gain was for the U.S. military. Pacific rim trade and commercial shipping and allies there will soon depend on a revitalized U.S. military.

C.I.S.I.S. has been warning us about this for years.

The Liberal’s compromising with China for decades has not been for Canada’s benefit, but for a long list of guess who…

    1. More to ring your alarm bells:
The Chicoms are conducting a full naval drill in the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea. Xi goes on one of the destroyers, addresses the fleet, and is unanimously answered with the Chinese for “Heil Xi”.

  7. At least the Chinese government gets things done. All our plutocrats can do is admire their authoritarianism.

  8. Rod! Todd! … bring forth the cookies! Listen! d’ya want a HAPPY God? … or a VENGEFUL God?!

Canada!! …. bring forth your wealth! Listen! … d’ya want a Panda Face? … or the Dragon face?

  9. That puss nut would be a wee bit more polite if we had 20 strategic nukes with maybe a few more roaming around in some subs. In fact every country would be more polite. When is the last time we had a PM who did some military service is this country run by cowards? Should be a f’n prerequisite.

  10. I thought we were going to be subjugated by Sharia and ‘no go zones’? Now China’s The Enemy? “We were always at war with Eastasia”

    1. Chinese to the left of me, muslims to the right, and here I am stuck here in Canada with Unme. Gaaaggghhh!!

  11. Tried to read the article, seems I have to sign up for the paper.
    FAT FRIGGIN’ CHANCE!
I get enough info here to make a decision.
Time to take the likes of Lu Shaye or whatever duck hunting. His turn to be the duck.
My neighbors kids worked for Nexen Energy when the Chinese took over. There were a hell of pile of Canadians laid-off that day.
Funny how when ever there is a casualty at an oil play and Nexen is involved, we rarely hear what the cause was or the outcome of any inquiry.

  12. Remember when Chinese communist government paid $15B for NEXEN?

There were those here that liked the idea on cashing in on it.

Yeah, you sell your company to a communist, you expect to be told what to do.

    That simple.

Those that run free enterprise companies have nothing in the human department on the communists.

They dictate. This is not a bombastic hyperbole. It is what they do. Without fail.

Sit back, have a bitter, watch.

    1. sad thing is, it was OUR money they spent on the purchase.
kinda like the bad old days, post war ‘prosperity’ when the Mercuns ran much of everything, setting up Mercun owned subsidiaries in canuckistan to solve the import/export stuff. from profits garnered by canuckistanies purchases.
lOOk at the sit’n now, similarities, Home Despot, Walmart, wtfeverelse.

    2. “There were those here that liked the idea on cashing in on it.”

It was a good idea then and still is today.

  13. Is that Dick ‘Tater telling L’ill P’tate what to do?
And the G & M even seems to have had enough
