I find it hard to believe that the Russians would use radioactive isotopes and nerve agents in the assassinations of relatively soft targets. Maybe in an Austin Powers sequel, but in real life? If the Russians can get close enough to poison these people, why use a poison that points back to them instead of just blowing up their car or shooting them and saying “It could have been anybody?”. I don’t have any love for Putin, but I wonder how much worse things would be in the world if a Russian version of Hillary was running things over there. Regardless, the U.S. can’t police Russia’s elections so the best bet is to practice diplomacy.
