  2. Recently an article was featured here that stated $150,000 was spent entertaining outgoing Vice President Joe Biden. Apperantly $70,000 was spent on a meal. Over 8 million was spent on a temporary ice skating rink. By any measure these are outrageous amounts for the amount of goods and services supplied . It is surely just the tip of the iceberg . I am wondering to whom and how these contracts were awarded . It appears to me the Liberals may well have found a replacement for brown paper bags.

  21. Canada is once again featured in the New York Times. The last time was the hit piece on Harper. Now it is a similar hit piece on Doug Ford. I guess it is a Canadian specialty at the NYT — anti-Conservative article, with the not-so-subtle undertone that sophisticates everywhere should be appalled.
    Interestingly, both articles (the anti-Harper one from 2015 and this one) are by the same guy: Stephen Marche.
