  1. “Drone war critics describe it as depersonalized killing, done with collateral costs unknown. ”
Agreed. Let’s carpet bomb with swarms of B-52s instead.

  2. you kill the support team, the terrorists wife and kids??? And slow the crop of new recruits. War is a dirty business, and the terrorists and their supporters are learning that, western lefties not so much!
    Now over to you Unthing!!!

  3. In the final 2 clumps of reportage in this Guardian article, “it’s human life” … I don’t believe for a second that those people coming out to greet the terrorists wouldn’t know where or what they’ve been up to all day. Using “civilian space” to launch rockets onto military personnel while thinking the military won’t retaliate is an error on the terrorist’s part, not the military’s.
The only errors the military has committed are allowing The Guardian to interview military personnel, and allowing the terrorists to hide behind the “women and children” or in the case of Gaza, hide in schools / medical clinics.

into the middle of a marketplace? wait – that was timmy taliban.

  5. Huh?! The Guardian almost seems troubled by Obama’s chosen form of sanitized warfare. War that is free from “embedded reporters”, and “film at 11”. War that is free from American guilt. No American serviceman body counts or bells tolled on the evening news while grim-faced Leftist media icons scowl for the camera.
I fail to recall reading a single Guardian article like this from 2009-2016 … when Obama gave the order and pushed the button with glee and impunity.
The killings, and accompanying civilian casualties, take an emotional toll
Yeah … thanks Guardian … for reminding us of how the Terrorists hide among their own women and children … endangering the so-called “innocents”. They’re not. I weep for the “civilians” as much as I weep for “The Terrorists”. Say, Guardian … have you ever SEEN pictures of little Islamic children holding guns, strapped with bombs, wearing military clothing? They are ALL enemy combatants. All of em. Or they get the HELL away from the KILL ZONE surrounding their Terrorist daddy. Their daddies are the ones responsible for the emotional toll … NOT Obama’s favorite robotic, remote, WARfare.

  6. “The Guardian almost seems troubled by Obama’s chosen form of sanitized warfare.” Kind of like the study of the New York Times decades long reporting on city homeless that was done not that long ago about New York City only having homeless people during a Republican federal administration and who magically disappeared from the Times pages during Democrat administrations.

  7. And this stuff won’t end until moderate muslims decide to take of their own extremists. That is, if there are any moderate muslims.

  8. I was a spy in the US Army in the 1960’s against the Soviets and their Warsaw Pact East Euro communist allies. This would have been way cooler to do.
Imagine if we had this in 1942 and could bump off Adolf, Hirohito/Tojo and Mussolini on the same day. Sure would have saved a lot of lives.
