  1. Ah, but it is evidence of global warming. That world-famous meteorologist/climatologist/atmospheric scientist Algore has told us so. We, the sheeple, are required to believe him.

  2. I hesitate to ask,but what happens to your electricity production if your source is windmills, when there is a snowfall of this magnitude?
Does snow cling to windmill blades,do they cease to rotate?

  3. If a view like that doesn’t propel you to put on your best snow gear, and go play in that snow, you must have had a really hard night.

  4. So it snowed. Big deal.
Assume y’all are charter members if the Flat Earth Society as well.

  5. Sad to say that although I am a huge fan of the blog, I couldn’t get any love for this idea over at WUWT; maybe the good folks here might be interested:
    https://www.change.org/p/the-honourable-james-gordon-carr-minister-of-natural-resources-open-letter-to-the-government-of-canada-re-climate-change
Currently stalled at just 12 signatures, pretty disappointing. Little help please? Maybe even worth sharing with friends and family and elected representatives? 🙂

  6. And didn’t old buddy AL our pal say that climatic events were showing that the Anthropogenic gang were right!!! Any bets CO2 will be causing the next Maunder Minimun !!!!

  7. Say what? What are “weasel words”? Do you mean I sound like someone who knows WTF they’re talking about after paying close attention to the issue for 20+ years?
Okay, I looked it up – “ambiguous or misleading.” I’m totally open to learning which parts of the petition are ambiguous or misleading.
I was told in a forum, arguing with a lockstep zombie greenie, that I was using “clever wordplay” to disguise the truth, which I understood right away meant, “you’re way smarter than me but I’ll eat a shit sandwich before I admit it.” I hope that’s not what you mean. I believe in precision in communication, ESPECIALLY when trying to make a point with people who have to think in legalese all the time.
I also have a theory about why the petition is stalled even though I’ve posted links in several places where I thought it might get traction: people are gutless about making their position known where their identity is revealed rather than hiding behind pseudonyms; or else they think it’s all a big joke – while their energy infrastructure gets dismantled, economy gutted, and tax burden increased by privileged, power-mad green Fascists.
Prove me wrong or help out, the choice is yours. It’s not a joke to me, or to my son who will have to live with the consequences of this tidal wave of anthropogenic global BULLSHIT.

  8. …and to those who have signed and are still signing this morning, THANK YOU! It might not have any effect, but you’re TRYING, which is better than nothing at all in my books.

  9. Michael I signed your petition! I have studied Athropogenic Climate change the last 12 years in detail! Without doubt, at best, it is very incorrect science ;at worst a fraud and a ponzi scheme! On the site I couldn’t leave a comment!

  10. Thank you Keith, every single signature is appreciated. Not sure why you weren’t able to leave a comment but will look into it when I’m back at my puter.

  11. Michael, as ever, the whole truth is too long a story. Few have the patience to tell it, none the patience to hear it.
What you are saying is true and correct. But, could I suggest you cut the number of words in the petition by three quarters, and attach a set of explanatory notes?

  12. Ted, you hit the nail on the head. It’s no easy task deciding what to talk about when trying to convince believers. My son recently did a paper on the climate change debate for Geography class, and he’s lucky in that he only had to focus on the science and how bad it is; I’ve always tried to look at the whole picture, but as he said when doing his research, “I could spend a dozen lifetimes just FINDING all the stories that show what a scam it is, never mind writing about them!” He ended up doing a great job distilling it all down.
If I had the power, I’d bury our politicians under a mountain of those stories – preferably literally. I have a sneaking suspicion though that they’re all perfectly well aware of a lot of the scandals – but since they get to grow their already-bloated bureaucracy and fleece us with new taxes, they just don’t care. They know we’ll keep using more and more fossil fuels, they know China will remain the biggest coal burner on the planet while they pay lip service to environmentalism to placate morons like Justin “I admire their dictatorship” Trudeau…geez, I’d better stop before I get depressed.
And this is where the rubber really meets the road, because if e.g. Notley knows the world needs fossil fuels and she STILL guts the Oils Sands – WTF is going on really? It’s actually quite scary, and inspired me to take up the slogan “might as well learn Mandarin now and get a head start.” Are our “leaders” actually dedicated to bringing down our whole country? It’s obvious that in the entire developed world, politicians long ago stopped giving a damn about the people who hired them and pay their salaries, if they ever did, so it’s actually quite scary. I see the climate change thing as one of the most obvious manifestations of this, so that’s where I keep trying to make a difference, so thanks for your suggestion and I agree, it needs to be more concise. Might not have time today but will get on it.
Thanks again to all who signed, and @Keith, no idea why it won;’t allow new comments. Incidentally I did send the link to Jason Kenney, but haven’t even gotten a reply from an exec assistant, no acknowledgement at all. But I ain’t giving up and am encouraged every time my son comes home from school and tells me that he’s heard yet another kid laugh at the idea of AGW. These are the bright ones BTW, the ones who excel, so let’s all have hope this crap will disappear in the next generation. We need to encourage bright kids to enter politics, and that’s tough since they’re mostly interested in tech and science; we need to edge out the leftist goose-steppers or I shudder to think of the future of our country, and civilization in general.
