I don’t think anyone close to this couple really believes the murder-suicide story floated by police.
I kind of doubt their murders had anything to do with a Liberal fundraiser. But the Sherman’s had some shadier business connections that may have gone awry. Try googling “Barry Sherman Frank D”.
Not making any accusations, but there are more likely suspects than Liberal fundraisers.

the Canadian government is as corrupt as any other. year after year we see governments change but policies never do.
Wonder if authorities were to delve further would they come up with something that could be labeled corruption? Is there a fine line line between simply breaking rules…using that as a lame excuse, and outright corruption?
