Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What They Say About SDA
"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
So the moral of the story is that good things happen when a leader works to put the welfare of their people (family, community, company, country…) first? Makes no sense because it ignores artists, perpetual victims, polar bears and the EU. It’s a Republican ruse!
President Trump’s Middle East policy is simple: Back our friends and scare the hell out of our enemies, and negotiate where possible with our competitors like Russia and China
WINNING!!!
The “New York Liberal”, Donald Trump … has, already, in ONE year … put MORE Conservative policies in place that I EVER have wanted, since I turned 18 and was able to vote (legally … hey! I’m not a Democretin) And BTW, the politics of the 150,000 rockets pointed at (and fired at) Israel … is really spot-on.
Seems to me it’s still unsung. That article said very little about Trump or his policy initiatives.
Most of the article is about KSA.
Success ?
After 8 years of the worst imaginable policy we can now merely choose from the least bad options. Confusing “not entirely terrible” with “success” is silly. The place is a cesspool and likely to remain so well after President Trump is long gone. So, keep up the good work – but don’t get too excited.
Agreed, and Canada is MUCH farther down the rabbit hole than the USA is/was. I think Canada passed the point of no return in the 80s; which means elections have not mattered in Canada since the first Trudeau was done or shortly thereafter.
To use Saskatchewan as an example, “you can vote for 50% unreliable power, or 40%, or 55%, by 2020, or 2030, or 2025… No one is selling any crowns. No one is cutting any services. Vote for six from one party, half a dozen from the second, twelve twenty-fourths from the third…”
Yeah hhh … EXCEPT!!
The sweeping Saudi changes are not simply … less bad than Hussein’s apology ME policy. There is (potentially) a massive SEA CHANGE afoot. It’s not clear to me yet … but I like the direction that is taking the ME.
Um. Canada actually has a smaller government and less welfare/entitlement than the US. Lower corporate income tax too.
Re the article: let’s take this apart like the pathetic piece of crap it is!
1) Israel: skimmed it; not a single Trump accomplishment. Nothing. Just talks about the past.
2)Attributes KSA reform of Saudi government to Trump statement without strong evidence (KSA was working on reform well before Trump showed up). Further, it remains to be seen what a blow to Sunni Jihadism this really is.
And that’s it. There’s nothing else except some muddled acknowledgement that the US position isn’t much better, followed by declaring victory anyway. Pathetic.
