  1. Camille Paglia is fkcuing BRILLIANT! I believe she just might be the missing link that helps the snowflake generation of cozy leftists finally EVOLVE into the REAL world. Because WE conservatives can’t do it. We are shouted-down by the whiney children, every time we try Perhaps they will show some respect and deference to grandma Paglia? And actually LISTEN to her reason, logic, and perspective ?
    And OMG! She said (to applause) EXACTLY what I have observed and expressed on many occasion … that an overwhelming value and belief of the leftists are that … “if we are just *nice* to everyone (every nation) that they will *nice* back to us. I have said, repeatedly, that THIS leftist principle was put into action by HER … in Benghazi. SHE repeated ignored and refused to put up a GUARD … or any viable security around our makeshift Embassy. Why ? Because SHE was “signaling” America’s new *niceness* under the Obama ‘Arab Spring’ policy. That institutional naivete’ got 4 Americans kilt deadt including our Ambassador. And Camille gets it exactly right … it is all down to HER sophomoric naive, childish, belief in the reciprocity of *nice*

  5. The Fall of Rome. Maybe. I think it’ll be more similar to the Time Machine but without the cannibalism, of course. The Western world’s pampered Eloi are definitely diverging both culturally and intellectually from the rest of humanity. It can also be shown that they are mostly marrying each other but producing few children so their population will rapidly decrease. The Eloi exist in their own make-believe, fanciful, logic-free world. A place with 32+ human genders, where all differences and inequalities are social constructs and conformity is strictly enforced. It is a place where all modern conveniences appear like a magic, a great mystery the Eloi don’t really understand yet continually insist they should control. They live in gated communities and ivory towers and they only interact with eachother.
    The morlocks are actually divided into two factions. The productive ones who keep everything safe, orderly and running properly and the unproductive ones who are angry, brutish and demanding. The productive take care of both the Eloi and the unproductive. The Eloi hate the productive morlocks and insist the unproductive are really just victims of productive morlock bigotry. Like the Eloi, the unproductive morlocks are incapable of caring for themselves and running the essential systems that are required in temperate and cold climates.Eventually the productive morlocks go on strike, set up their own communities and stop preventing the brutish morlocks from destroying the Eloi. The first winters without heat, electricity, safe drinking water and supermarket food finishes off both Elois and the brutish morlocks. Productive morlocks inherit western civilization. Eventually the cycle repeats.

  6. LC Bennett – you are mistaken. There are very few unproductive Morlocks.
    Without the evolutionary pressure of predation, an ever increasing portion of the Eloi population is becoming feral. They lack the diligence and intelligence of the Morlocks, which are key Morlock traits, while possessing the vapid entitlement and herd mentality that is characteristic of the Eloi. While they increasingly lack the Elois’ more physically attractive appearance, this might be due too poor breeding, as survival of the fittest no longer applies to the Eloi. Also, the Eloi are incapable of understanding basic nutrition, so that might also factor into things.

  7. For significant portions of my life I’ve lived in mixed income neighbourhoods. There were tradesmen, farmers, labour workers, service industry workers, secretaries and those who had retired from those occupations but also low income housing and welfare alcoholics. I have been around unproductive morlocks.
    As a kid, I remember two alcoholic neighbors that lived close to us and beside each other. One was a functional alcoholic and the other a lifetime welfare recipient. They’d drink together and occassionally get into drunken fights. One warm summer evening the fight spilled out into the street and was more serious than usual. A small crowd of neighbors were watching, waiting for the police. One grumpy guy said “Best case : one finishes off the other and then goes to jail so we’ll be rid of both of them.” Everyone gave him (fake?) shocked looks.
    Somedays, I feel like that grumpy guy.

  10. … And the last two generations of our males have been gelded and “transformed” … so we have no one capable of fighting back against the onslaught. At least not in the urban neighborhoods where the men pay for their Uber rides with money pulled from their purses, er … European carryalls.

  11. A great conversation by Camille and Christina, and they are right. The analogies of late Rome and Eloi/Morelock are correct, but in my opinion it is too late for western civilization to recover from the leftist destruction. As Matt says, there are too many barbarians inside the gates and the ruling Eloi have allowed them in and like Romans will have to suffer the consequences.
    The Russians eventually got rid of the Stalinist edicts of everybody informing on everybody, as did the the East Germans got rid of the Stazi, and while these peoples are still paying the price for those destructive years, they have a chance. We are still evolving into a more Stalinist society considering Camille and Christina’s talking about the informing apps, and at the same time allowing in peoples that want to destroy our civilization.

    This progressive BS got me turfed from my optometrist. By registered mail no less…! Apparently I was “politically incorrect” or something while in a small room with one of their techs. I was completely blown away by that. Seems to me we had a few laughs and that was it. I’m betting someone had a listening device and/or said app going or she was … ? I simply don’t know what. UNREAL. I did not use any racial slurs, derogative language yet something must of set them off. I am settling it being White privilige yet all in the place were caucasian…
