Heh
Their future is here.
Good luck juniors.
The ignorance of the young people today is positively monumental, awesome ……
No justice No peace! Until EVERY Barista EARNS the same wage as a thoracic surgeon … THE PEOPLE will NOT rest!! RESIST. RESIST (the Dow Jones (ewwww) Industrials rising >5,000 points since Trump’s election!! Vive Le Revolucion’ POWER TO THE PEOPLE, right on.
I noticed that kind of thinking while I was an instructor at a certain technical college. The place always envied the status that the university on the other side of the city had, even though its own graduates often got good jobs and were successful.
Shortly before I left, it began offering “applied degrees” which seemed nothing more than a way of filching more cash from students. I’m sure the administration won’t rest until each and every graduate finishes with a Ph. D. in his or her discipline. It’ll probably do that by ensuring that the certificate everyone who finishes receives will be re-named (or is it “re-branded”?) as a doctorate.
Humanity is screwed.
“The second common feature to these protests is no less pervasive but far more frightening: college administrations who, through their own obsequious cowardice, have become utterly powerless against the activists running amok on their campuses.”
Amen to that. Cowardice stalks the Land.
You just met your average Liberal or NDP voter, a product of the institutional left – public schools division.
golly. I was just getting a laugh on the weekend with an acquaintance about that line in Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’ about pigs being ‘more equal’ than the others.
None of these people he interviewed had the foggiest idea of the tragic events unfolding in Venezuela. Because the left does not want them to know, and so these youngsters will persist in believing in unicorns, rainbows, and income equality.
Venezuela is not nearly “equal”
There are many many cases of those in the upper political class, having moved millions of dollars out of Venezuela.
They do have more difficulty hiding their fat though, that is if they had to actually stand in line with the skinnies that occupy the lower classes.
When has socialism been good for poor people?
Maybe for a very short period of time but never in the long-run.
Bingo! All of the above also.
If these people get their wish they and their families will suffer the same consequences as those that know better and are opposed. Hopefully they all have suitcases they can pack for the 4:00 AM visit by the Militz.
Too dumb to breathe … but thanks to the trans-gender fad, now also too dumb to breed.
“No justice No peace! Until EVERY Barista EARNS the same wage as a thoracic surgeon…”
Here, let me fix that for you:
“No justice No peace! Until EVERY thoracic surgeon EARNS the same wage as a barista…”
Welcome to Cuba!
