Lord … so many things just WRONG about this story. Let’s start with the need for a Night Watchman at a daycare center. Are parents leaving their kids there overnight ? Or is the an epidemic of burglars targeting big wheels and playdough ?
What, Turdeau will give the guy a million dollars just in case a few Canadians hurt his feelings after checking his Facebook page.
in situations like this, I default to the knowledge that the little ones are not, at this time, feeling the horrific pain of the burns and horror of the flames anymore. it’s all I have beside an immense sadness and getting bleary eyed about it. along with, to me, gut wrenching stories of animal abuse.
the little ones. the most defenseless demographic in the entire gawdforsaken WORLD. a world chock full of hate and violence.
I say it again people, I have escaped this kind of harm time and again to the point it can *no longer be dismissed as coincidence*. I took a stats course in 1st yr, I know about ‘probability’ vs the *un*likelihood about ‘things’. my conclusion at 66 yrs of age:
I’m on this sphere for a purpose. I suspect and REALLY HOPE that purpose has *something* to do with dishing it out on the heads of the evil ones. what exquisitely fine thought, being a weapon in the hand of my Lord and Creator. endowed with immense strenth and tolerance for discomfort. a deep to the marrow faith in my Saviour who continues to overlook my many faux pas on the condition I admit same.
migawd. I have this, this hope, image, of me on the battlefield, bleeding, out of breath, leaning on my good arm, surveying immense devastation and bodies everywhere of satan’s minions with the full knowledge that *I* was the one who put them in that condition.
anyway that’s my rant.
It’s just the nature of Brasil, Kenji. If the creche didn’t have a night-watchman, all the school equipment would get stolen. It’s why there’s always good money in raising fila brasileiro: it’s just how it is.
But the arson, dear God! One Minas Gerais paper said the murderer was on leave for depression, and quoted a police officer who said that the man chose to commit the crime on the 3 year anniversary of his father’s death. So…? Maybe insane? But… it’s incomprehensible.
