    We are SO much smarter in Canada,only allowing educated useful immigrants in to our Country, folks who will be hard at work in their new jobs within six months of arrival.

  5. There is only 1 islam, some muslims may be more devout, but it all comes from the same well.
    Anti radicalisation? Did anyone think to start by crossing out the offensively 6th century parts of their religion’s foundation? Or do they just say, “these parts of your religious texts are not meant to be taken seriously”?

And so long as YOU and YOUR family haven’t yet been killed or maimed … you will still cling to the myth of the “moderate Muslim”. For it is far more important in our current society to signal your virtue than to protect the innocents. Yes … our culture has regressed a loonnnnnnng way further back into the Dark Ages than you can imagine. Someday, if you are still alive, you come to realize the depth of our depraved devolution.

  9. I seem to recall outrage at Donald Trump for tweeting this bomber was known to Scotland Yard . So he is part of the “prevent ” program . Looks a lot like our young offender programs . Group a bunch together and they can brainstorm on the best way to implement their nefarious plans . Judging by the number of arrests it looks like they created more terrorists . But the answer is to deride the only one calling a spade a shovel. No worries , more diversity , laws to protect the religion of peace , ,and silencing anyone who doesn’t agree will fix it .

  10. Don’t be so cynical, government run drug rehab programs,like B.C.’s famous Four Pillars program has a success rate of 20%! I was told this by one of the staff at the facility in Vancouver.
    When I asked what the criteria for “rehabilitated” was,ie six months clean, two months clean, one month?,etc., the person never returned my e-mail.
    So, as the cynic I am, I’ll assume the worst, “successful rehabilitation of a drug addict means clean for 30 days”.
    And successful rehabilitation of a jihadi means he hasn’t attacked anyone in 30 days.
    Maybe I’m being too optimistic.
    To graduate, a professional civil servant asks the rehab’s jihadist, ” do you feel anger or violence toward anyone”?
    Answer,”oh no,not at all”.
    “Great you’re good to go! Congratulations,another success!”

  11. I think you are on to something. You know … I have often wondered just how much REAL damage is done to the progression of human DNA as a result of WAR. When vast numbers of virile young men are wiped out … how much damage is done to the arc of human evolution (I am a believer in scientific creationism, not someone who denies evolutionary forces). The mass elimation of young men in the American Civil War probably had a deleterious effect on American evolution as only the weak and cowardly were left behind to reproduce. I suspect our DNA is designed to be truly random (wherein “average” parents like my wife and I can spawn a child who is a mathematics whiz kid … while we struggle to balance our checkbook – ha! like anyone does that anymore). So perhaps I cannot lay all the blame for our creeping Socialism to the Civil War dead … but it makes one wonder.

  14. Yah … of course you’re right. But I was raised in a society that looks beyond one’s SELF for blame when things go wrong. There MUST be an “organic” reason for everyone’s personal failures … it couldn’t be the “nurturing” of their two mothers who recommended spending your life as a bitter, disaffected, women’s studies graduate, who wonders why she doesn’t get paid for her RESISTance.

  16. Islam has a feature that unlike Christianity their is no universal orthodoxy.
    It’s very easy for any Imam to proclaim their particular interpretation of the Koran is right one because no universal doctrine exists for islam.
    For example regardless of its flaws the Pope is the recognized authority of the Catholic church and his word on what Catholics believe is what defines Catholics.
    So until someone can
    A. Be recognized by the majority of adherents their interpretation of Islam is the correct one.
    B.Have sufficient clout to enforce it
    And
    C That recognized authority reject the particular types of dictates that involve dispatching non-adherents to the hereafter.
    Islam will continue to attract the violent and disturbed. Until they change that they leave the door open to distrust.

    Then that person will never be recognized because violence is what their prophet did for the last ten years of his life and Muhammad is recognized as the perfect Muslim man. These last ten years( according to the Hadith) are considered to abrogate the previous more peaceful practice in the Hadith that Muhammad had toward the Kafirs.(infidels)
    This is the way the Sunni/Salafi/Wahhabi Muslims, who are the majority cohort in Islam(whose numbers exceed Catholics) group the Hadith.
    The Sunni/Salafi/Wahhabi Muslims interpret Muhammad’s last ten years as the definitive way to deal with the Kafirs.
    The various hadith are grouped differently by the various Muslim sects and it is the importance which each sect put upon their Hadith groupings which delineates the several sects from each other.
    That person you speak of would have to remove Muhammad’s last ten years from Islam and still be seen as THE authority. That will never happen.
    Islam means submission. A Muslim is one who submits.
