  8. Anybody else recognize the war drums being played by the deep state? If not you haven’t been paying attention. I was in a restaurant yesterday that had CNN on one of its big screen TVs and low an behold they were intoning the imminent threat of NK. It set my mind back to all the previous times CNN and the MSM have jumped on board to ‘encourage’ the US administration to go to war whether the president and congress wanted to go to war or not. Not a fan of NK but I am not a fan of deep state either.

    The CNN drum beat is fading in most people’s minds more everyday. They have been exposed for what they are, tabloid journalists. If the Trump diatribe is not working anymore the pivot to war coverage is a tried and true fallback. Isn’t this what put CNN on the map for most people in the first place?
    Trump is bang on when he taunts the MSM with his ‘your business plans are failing, your all broke, lectures. Trump’s twitters are by passing the MSM’s ability to control the news. They are chasing the rabbit and losing.
    This is a very unhealthy scenario as there is lots of reasons to be wary of Trump. Maybe in the ashes of this industry there will an outlet that reinvents itself to the point that people can actually believe what they see and hear.

  16. I am not sure we are admirers, so much as just not accepting that Trump is as bad as the media tries to make out. The media has been relentless in their attacks on him, and many of the attacks are based on frivolous contentions. Why is that? Trump has also had some successes and these are seldom acknowledged. Don’t you feel you are being manipulated? I do, and it always causes me to try to withhold judgement until I have a better perspective. Trumps ratings in the States have bounced up, by the way. Millions of Americans continue to support him. I am not sure why you think he is more of an idiotic baboon than Bush, for example, or our own idiotic baboon.
