Jingoism ? Seriously ? Here’s the word you were fishing-for … “Environmentalism” … run amok. In the name of “environmentalism” … and “saving the rainforest” … the Obama Admin went after American guitar makers for sourcing “rare” and “endangered” exotic woods used in the manufacture of fine musical instruments. What a pile of rubbish. First: wood is the most renewable resource on the planet. responsible harvesting of rare woods can easily be managed. Mismanagement of the resource doesn’t fall in the lap of an American guitar maker … it falls on the foreign countries where the resource grows. THOSE countries need to manage their natural and economic resource. Second: use of natural resources is not a sin. It is the current eco-vogue tompretend that mankind can live “gently” on the planet by leaving every resource in the ground. What a pile of rubbish. Our children’s heads have been filled with the LIE that developers, manufacturers, and retailers are all EVIL … but we can simultaneously live with every modern convenience. How utterly STUPID are the sheep who believe this nonsense.
Obama ATTACKED a fantastic AMERICAN guitar-maker in the name of FAKE “Environmentalism”. It was one of his first draconian crackdown on USE of natural resources. Yet at the same time, Obama hosted nearly weekly White House concerts by musical Act after musical Act … many holding beautiful Gibson Les Paul’s, or CF Martin D-28’s … bulging and resonating with Brazilian Rosewood. A perfect metaphor for Obama’s and the whole FAKE eco-movements duplicity. The modern eco-movement is a giant JOKE.
