A top UK university is to replace portraits of its founding fathers with a “wall of diversity” of scholars from different backgrounds following pressure from students.
Kings College London is planning to remove the portraits of former university staff from the main entrance wall and replace them with BME (Black and minority ethnic) scholars.
The proposal to exclude white scholars from the entrance wall follows criticism from students who claimed that the presence of such portraits is too “intimidating” for minorities, The Telegraph reported.
I think it would be “intimidating” also, but they probably don’t agree with my reasoning.

Why not replace all their threatening portraits with non-threatening Teddy Bears of varying colours and gender characteristics, a unicorn or two, and a multicoloured binky (baby soother) dispenser. Seriously, if they are publicly funded and “teaching” liberal arts just shut them all down and hand out library cards.
Here’s an idea ! Remove ALL busts entirely, and replace them with sculptures depicting the works, or inventions created by these dead white (middle aged – that was funny to read) men. Ha! Not only was their whiteness “intimidating” … but so too was their middle agedness … ha ha ha ha. Yeah, I also remember how intimidating it was to be a dumb, young, college student. So intimidated by all those “middle agesters”.
So perhaps illustrating the works and inventions of these men (and woman) will be more inspiring and less intimidating for these brown snowflakes ? After all … isn’t that what is motivating these students ? To DO something great !? To stand on the shoulders of great “people” who went before them and LEARN from their examples ? Or do they just go to college to be an agitprop racist !?

Having watched the slow devolution of most genre fiction into SJW crap (and so I’ve subsequently turned to historical and military fiction), I’m going to be watching the box office take on this movie very carefully. Movie studios are obsessive about the bottom line, which is why the MCU movies have avoided the writing and revenue trainwreck of the comic books. If there’s a strong box office reaction, it might lead Hollywood to make more movies that don’t pander to the diversity police a la the Chick-Fil-A effect.
The minority students should demonstrate that they are not intimidated by refusing to let the white students who object to the portraits of white scholars tell them what their opinions should be.
Sadly, it does seem to support the arguments of 1950s racists….

It’s sad, but they should be intimidated, being that average white I.Q. is by all studies about 15 points higher than black I.Q.s. If a person with an 85 IQ was speaking to a person on complicated subjects with a person of say, 110 IQ, it is unlikely the person with the 85 IQ would understand much or the communication.
