Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

so far, for the most part, the criticisms launched at the Donald are, in my humblest opinion, trivial.
the 10s of thousands of his supporters for instance, can play the ‘match game’ quite well. matching up the drones’ criticisms with example after example of the same behaviours cloaked in propaganda. the rest of it lying under 50,000 acres of carpet.
my position right now and one I expressed in a recent university course is basically ‘wait and see’. all modern presidents performed some sort of redeeming action. Reagan saw the savings and loan crisis happen when he deregulated. and then promptly kicked the crap out of soviet communism. etc etc.
wait and see. maybe president Trump will solve the N Korean problem and be remembered generations from now for preventing a nuke hitting the continent. who knows. wait and see.
I mailed a letter last week to the producers of ‘full frontal’ reminding them e-v-e-r-y time they take a trivial swipe at Trump they are pyssing on the shoes of e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e who voted for him. that’s pop media for ya.
I’ve stopped watching Stephen Colbert because of his continuous puerile attacks on Trump EVERY night
11th Commandment: The mainstream media (which includes every so called “comedy” and “talk” show) will enforce the 10 Commandments with their last breath, drop of ink, and keystroke. The mainstream media will obfuscate and/or completely ignore every CRIME perpetrated by the Left against the people of America. The mainstream media will simply parrot and reprint every; speech, study, and press release of the Leftwing party. The mainstream media is part of the swamp. They are the part that really STINKS so bad you cant ever clean it off your clothes.
No one cares about VDH any more. His relevance ended about 20 years ago. People always imagine change happens in another era. Dude, the only constant is change. Get out of your somewhat Ivory Tower and smell the change. I’m tired of reading his stupid shit, and I think he should just retire.
Ivory tower? If anything, as a farmer himself, he is able to see both sides of a situation; especially in California. He is a voice that I wouldn’t ever take for granted given his vantage point.
You used to watch him? Unbelievable. You must be lying.
The Beltway Swamp rules work especially well when the vast majority of the media has the same ideology as the caimans, piranhas, and Bushmasters inhabiting Washington.
This article by VDH is particularly relevant considering the coup being attempted in Washington by the media, Democrats and many Republicans. As well, many of the piranhas are GOP members themselves, particularly with respect to their refusal to move on one of the cornerstones of Trumps platforms and that being the health care issue.
The people be dammed, it is the establishment that knows best.
So I had a few cold ones, read the title “noose to noose”, register something about the swampland, think: “that sounds about right” and move on.
I watched him once and knew he was a complete idiot.
