Meh.. I’m cheering for the Nashville Predators. If Ottawa wins I’ll have to see Justine stick his smarmy face in front of the cup about 1000 times over the summer.
Sorry, but if Trudeau tells me I should get behind the Senators that’s a pretty strong reason not to. Canadian teams haven’t done particularly well in recent decades when the Liberals have been in power.

You can bet the hair turd would claim credit for a Sens win, a selfie in every town in Trudopia. Anyway, who cares that the Sena are the last Trudopian team. Most eastern Trudopians cheered for the Bruins when the Canooks made the final, so eff em. Bettman’s league would never allow a Sens Nash final anyhoo… IT will be Pitts vs Nash and I won’t be watching a minute of it, I prefer the long gone but not forgotten Canadian game. Who plays Hockey in the summer time anyhow?
Nukes reminds me of toques which every hockey player wore in Midget hockey at -20 F at the outdoor games in Saskatoon. Before pampering and helicopter parents were invented.
I haven’t cared since I stopped playing, which was after C level I wasn’t good enough to carry on. It is as boring to watch as it was exciting to play. I guess I am an even worse spectator than I was an athlete.

In late May and early June the evenings are way too nice to spend them sitting in front of the TeeVee watching a winter sport.

Calgary scooped/stole Curtis Lazar from the Sens so I hold no ill will towards them making the Cup Finals. I wish them the best of luck in Game 7. They’re a Canadian underdog team the likes of which hasn’t been this close to a Cup Final in over ten years. Great job!
I amend my previous comment: The Canucks lost the Cup Finals to Boston in 2011. Outside of that no other Canadian teams have made the Cup Finals since Edmonton in 2006.
