Why are the Republicans in Congress even entertaining the stupidity of Russian influence? Hasn’t the FBI already said “nothing to see here folks.” The only reason it’s news is Trump derangement syndrome.
Actually the most scandalous thing here is that Obama ordered the FBI to investigate Trump’s russian ties. Imagine if Bush had ordered Obama investigated for all his questionable associations. The democrats have taken the fact that the FBI was investigating Trump as meaning that there must be something there.
Proving, once again, that the left just HATES the US Constitution … absolutely loathes it. The left wants to abolish it, twist it or ignore it all together. The anti-Constitution in Chief, Captain Zero, is STILL waging his personal WAR against the Constitution from absentia.

The truth seems more like the establishment, intelligentsia, their uninformed but obedient mediocracy handmaidens and various angry Democrats are in denial there was a legitimate election held, that they lost.
The have bundled up the first four stages of grief/loss: denial, anger, bargaining (can we get Trump out) and depression (it’s not working), but never to reach acceptance that Trump is POTUS, that the establishment was handed a can of whoop a**, that socialism is unsustainable because it eventually runs out of other people’s money, the first sign being statist claims they only want to tax the “rich.”
In Canada, that means families with more than $45K annual income btw. The truth is the Demstatists are enraged at the temerity of the American people to not accept the status quo, with establishment types in their cushy jobs, not subject to accountability, scrutiny or common sense.

There is not a day that goes by that I don`t hear, read or see some otherwise normal Canuck turn into a blithering idiot at the mention of the name Trump. Cross-border shopping is probably down along with any school of organization events held in the US. Everyone has heard from a friend who had a cousin that knew a colleague who knew of someone stopped at the border.

p.s. re the funhouse chainsaws, years ago I was in Niagara Falls tourist area (now replaced with the casino) and some clever blokes set up a funhouse using real chainsaws sans chain. they would hold the blade against you in the dark thus scaring the bejeezuz out of a lot of people. isnt that the point?

So Ornstein started touting this “idea” after 9/11, and he’s touting it today. But I have to ask, how often did he talk up this “idea” between Nov. 2008 and Nov. 2016? I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer is less than one.

James and Texas Canuck – the Canadian side really does have a lot of issues. I was just finishing a not so friendly conversation on FB with my aunt and her friend (I’m 57 so these are not young people) when another pal sent me a text of a steam locomotive with the caption ‘Trump will have us using these soon’ (he was born and raised in Hong Kong but has been in Canada for over well over 40 years so is very Canadian and a conservative as well). “Really?” I said. “Where the hell did you get that from?”. No logical answer of course.
My own parents think Obama was a Saint and Trump is the Devil. They just know better than to argue with me about it because I can be a real prick when I want to.
I’ve told them all that I’m not a cheerleader for Trump but he’s the guy the people of the USA chose to run against Hillary. He won, she lost and I’m glad because I think she would have been a much bigger (yuuuuuuuuuge) disaster.
These Canadians that I speak of are rabidly anti-Trump and he’s not even our President! (not that we have a president of course – you get my drift).
I only wish Trump would lose the twitter thing – that’s all. But it IS fun to read his tweets sometimes.
Two points . There has been calls for impeachment since before Trump was sworn in and his only offence was winning the election. There concern with succesion leads me to believe they are trying to find a way to eliminate Trump permently .
