  1. I still can’t fathom this. Was it a joke that didn’t get caught before press time? Who on earth approved this for release to publication? I can’t even believe that an editor demanded one of the cub crime reporters scratch something up from memory because they didn’t get a sketch in time – that’s pastels on kraft paper, standard court sketch artist tools.
For a billion dollars a year, they could at least get a moderately talented high school student to do their court sketches. Make it a co-op placement or something.

  2. The ‘artist’ made sure all the ‘colour’ was used up on the black collar and long brown hair.

  3. He didn’t even get the colours right. He used the number 7 orange where he was supposed to use the number 3 red.

  4. At least that portrait looks like a slapdash work from somebody who knew how to paint – I mean, it does look like Brown and show a bit of skill. But that courtroom sketch? It looks like a doodle of Nigel Tufnel by a bored kid in English class or something.

  5. Hmmm. Something’s fishy here. That picture is on my fridge. I just double-checked. It’s my kid’s 2nd grade teacher. He made that a few months ago.

  6. “These comments are very hurtful”. Yup. Hopefully to the leftards who think they rule the world. Marie screwed-up comes to mind in France. She did get rid rid of her headache though.

  7. More like, this is what happens when aspiring artists aren’t told their work is crap and they should try another line of work. I know, it didn’t work so well with Hitler.

  8. A job that that should have gone the way of the buggy whip when the camera was invented, however government lawyers had ‘better’ ideas.

  9. Nobody adores impressionist and ‘modern’ art than I do … however … Brown’s sketchy portrait is a hilarious (if not sadly pathetic) metaphor for the “fuzzy” policies of our leftist Gov. Rather than a portrait painted in a “realist” style … it is a “surreal” sketch of our leftist Gov. A perfect illustration of his fuzzy math and unfocused social policies. A brilliant expression of our surreal Gov. Moonbeam
The courtroom sketch may not be sophisticated example of post-Impressionism … but it is quite a study in “outsider art” … another Grandmother Moses in waiting … Ha !

  10. Well it’s just not “art” today unless there are three things: menstrual blood, tampons, and high pitched screaming.

  11. Begs the question why there is not a single photo of the guy; or at least a half-decent artist’s rendering. Seems like the MSM is protecting yet another privileged white kid of Nordic heritage. Although I certainly stand to be corrected.

  12. Nothing being hidden … the amateurish sketch … clearly communicates the “native” appearance of the perp.

  13. Yes,if ONLY someone has simply said,”‘Dolf, your work has real merit.I find it very interesting”.( but then who would the Left compare Harper or Trump to?)
Gotta be careful with criticism of “art”, the guy you denigrate today may be tomorrow’s…. fill-in-the-blank, and it’s all your fault!
And, that “work” is reminiscent of my daughter’s artistry at age five.

  14. Either the shading went wrong, or the intent was an “early Michael Jackson/later Michael Jackson” composite.

  15. Edmonton Woman honking horn, most probably was a NDP Progressive. She should fight to set him free with a healing circle or something.
