  3. A couple of weeks ago I moved from Canada to the Caribbean. The island of Montserrat, to be precise.
    Turns out, this island was settled by African and Irish slaves. 249 years ago, on St. Patrick’s day, 9 slaves rebelled. They were all executed.
    Today, the remaining Montserratians (3/4 left when the volcano blew 20 years ago) are all black people with surnames like Sweeney, Lee, Ryan, Irish, and so forth. There’s been a huge party going on all week, leading up to the big day tomorrow. It’s nearly 1am now and I can hear the music in the next village, over a mile away. Think I’m going to have to wear green in the morning or I’ll get run off the island.

    It’s over for the Dutch. It won’t be long before their history and icons are destroyed by their muzzie brothers. They might have had a chance to turn this thing around a few decades ago but the hoard has reached critical mass. Witness the reaction by the Turks.

  13. Bizarre, but I bet this is not about women or “the disabled” (as stated in the article — Do they even take disabled in the military)? It is to accomodate Muslims. There will be an Hijab and a niqab incorporated into the uniform. (To my mind, this makes it less “welcoming” to women, who would be identified as not equal to their male counterparts.). They are disguising this agenda by including a bunch of minorities in their saccharine statement. How exactly are uniforms, etc. To be made more accommodating of gays? (I don’t want to even think about it — maybe some fettish motifs from the annual parade? And, they most certainly will have to allow cross-dressing. Canadians are being played for dupes. There will be more of this garbage before Libs get the boot.

  25. True. I gather this is being done in part for recruitment. Unfortunately they have not taken into consideration all of the traditional military types that they will alienate with this. I predict a future military with 50% women, Muzzies (at least they are good fighters), gays, aboriginal and the disabled.

  27. The Canadians currently serving in HM forces need to produce the Canadian equivalent of the New Zealand Haka. And the attitude that goes with it.
