Almost everybody thought Trump would lose, including the president himself. His win last November surprised everybody. Vladimir Putin is a smart man, but he can’t see the future better than anyone else. Like the rest of us, he assumed Hillary Clinton would win.
So when his cyberagents hacked the Democratic National Committee and released what it found to WikiLeaks, Putin was attacking the presumed incoming president of the United States. He didn’t go after Clinton per se. Rather, he pre-emptively struck against the next White House.

WAIT A MINUTE! …the entire premise of “the Russians hacked Hillary’s emails” was blown up by this week’s Vault7 info dump from Wikileaks. The Vault7 information this week shows that the CIA and NSA have been ROUTINELY using Russian software to hack into systems and it makes it LOOK LIKE the Russians did it when in fact the CIA and NSA did it. So, Putin was not “preemptively striking against America’s next White House”, in fact the CIA / NSA was (successfully) trying to PREVENT the Clinton crime family from occupying the White House for a third term.
Two incredibly boring assumptions in this piece. 1 – the Russians did it. Yawn. 2 – focus only on the fact that those emails were hacked,not on WHAT THOSE EMAILS SHOWED ABOUT HILLARY AND THE DNC!

The preoccupation with Russia by the leftist Press is born of The EU constantly being bitch-slapped by Vladimir Putin. The EU is substantially dependent on Vlad for their oil and gasoline supplies … and the EU has been made to kowtow to Vlad the exploiter.

As Obama was expelling Russians for supposedly hacking the Democrats, they were tapping the Russian ambassadors phone picking up conversations with Trump’s team. Why is no-one outraged about this?
As a Brit, I would be mortified if our security services used the crude method which gained access to the DNC system. I would expect that we would be able to hack into the server unknown to the users and leaving little or no trace behind. Sending an email saying “click here to install virus” is nowhere near sophisticated enough, it’s the method used by a young schoolboy from the back bedroom of his parents’ house and depends for its success on the email being read by a moron who does not know the first thing about computer security. Admittedly, the high proportion of morons in the DNC does increase the likelihood of success, but the Russians would be ashamed if people thought this was the best that they could do.
I’m pretty sure that the Russians accessed the DNC server and Hillary’s server if they wanted to. I would also think that other countries (some ostensibly friendly) did the same. I just do not believe that the Russians released the information when they would not expect it to benefit them, nor do I think that they funded Trump when he could easily raise money from his supporters but wasn’t spending it anyway.
The Russians are a convenient whipping boy but I don’t think that they supported Trump and the problems seem to have been closer to home anyway.
Russia or China could have massive raw Intel, but they will not understand the AMERICAN significance of that data.

Israel had good reason to hack those servers/e-mails, and smart enough to make it look like the Russians did it. Also, when the CRU at East Anglia was “hacked” and dumped, it was traced back to Russian. So someone back that far was using the Russian as a scape goat. Did Russian hack hitlery and the wop (podesta), probably. Did they give wiki those e-mais, maybe, maybe not, who knows. I’ll bet the CIA and NSA know who did what and are just staying mum, to keep every one guessing. The best way to hide such things is to have several possibilities out there.
