The origin of the trophy.
Who will live up to that, this year?

The cup MVP toothless snowflake millennial. My vote, Nazeem Khadri, Don Cherry’s fav Leaf.
“He himself accounted for three of the enemy with his revolver.”

Not sure if that falls within generally accepted accounting principles.
What a difference a century makes. Today a hero is one who fights for the right for a man to wear a dress and urinate in a women’s washroom.
Noddyrules: Bingo!
What a bunch of tough old bastards that generation was. Conn Smythe was one of the great Canadians of that generation, and his quote,” if you can’t beat ’em in the alley you can’t beat ’em on the ice” would make Gary Bettman faint dead away.
“We are going to have to do something about all this violence, or people are going to keep buying tickets.”
Read his bio a few years back, what a great story. http://www.azquotes.com/author/25001-Conn_Smythe
Great catch, Lance!
I assume you are ONLY questioning where to account for his remaining unspent cartridges ? Do they go into “Inventory” ? Are they goods “delivered”, although not yet put into service ? Quite confusing questions in the fog of Accounting.
I agree, that’s a tough one. As for the cartridges that WERE delivered … Brilliant Mate ! … Brilliant !
In the field, it’s acceptable.
And he got an Military Cross. The award of an MC (or the equivalent Military Medal for non-commissioned personnel) is generally to be preferred to the award of a Victoria Cross as earning the VC has a much lower survival rate.
First of all the Leafs would have to make the playoffs and into the final round, also he needs to sharpen his defensive skills as he is a minus 9.He is maturing into a force on the ice though and with the new rookies should balance out the Leafs as the top power forward
I looked up his address on Google maps and there is no longer a Glen Grove Avenue West in Toronto. His dad’s address, 85 Bleecker Street is still there but it is a rather modern looking co-op apartment now. Given where his father lived I would bet that Glen Grove Avenue was in “The Ward” which IIRC was all bulldozed and redeveloped when Nathan Phillips Square was built. Not a particularly upscale area.
