It is great to hear that the Humane Society of the United States and their Legislative Fund are running scared. For too long the previous administration and government has stood by allowing these extremist groups to push their agenda down the throats of unsuspecting Americans. It is long past time they were stopped in their tracks.
They are afraid because Scott Pruitt has a history of standing up to the Humane Society of the United States. In 2014, when Pruitt was Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma, he opened an investigation into the activities of the Humane Society of the United States. He also issued a public message stating that groups like the Humane Society of the United States are asking for donations and giving the impression that the funds collected would go to assisting Oklahoma animal shelters. Instead, funds were really going to write and promote legislation in other states and on the federal level. Of note, the HSUS responded with a lawsuit against Pruitt for harassment because they didn’t want to release the information he requested under the Oklahoma Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act.
They are afraid because as EPA Director, Scott Pruitt can better watch-dog their activities and attempts to influence law and regulations to push their radical extremist agenda. In addition to misleading fundraising efforts, the Humane Society of the United States has made efforts to influence the EPA, their regulations, and to obtain information from them. They have “Public Commenters” they send to open meetings equipped with slide presentations. Under the Freedom of Information Act, they tried to get a list from the EPA that included data collected on farmers in the United States as well as data from Clean Water Act permits. Using the EPA as their delivery system to help end all hunting, they have worked to make hunting more difficult by attempting to push through regulations about ammunition.
So, the left wants to throw us back to a hunter-gatherer level, and they want to stop us from hunting. They really do want us dead.
Yes, they want us living in caves and eating grass.
Four years is such a short time to drain all the swamps. Start with firing the leftist Democrat saboteur moles in the security services and in the general government services. Hopefully there is enough success by Trump for the people to see that he gets another four years.
I just hope that Pruitt, with the help of Jeff Sessions, can put a full stop to the wink-wink-nod regulation by lawsuit practice, where EPA has encouraged environmental groups to sue the agency over some issue not clearly mandated by existing law, then quickly settling without defending the lawsuit, and paying the plaintiffs exorbitant attorneys’ fees. The settlements typically include an agreement to create new regulations that were not needed to enforce any existing law. Everybody walked away from the table happy at that point, the enviro-group with lots of money in their pockets, the EPA with a chance to create new rules without answering to Congress, and the Justice Department claiming a “win” because they didn’t have to defend the suit in court.
Of course, the big losers in all of this were the Public.
When I see their phoney ads on TV I want to puke. If they cannot charged with fraud you’d think that they could at least be prosecuted for false advertising. How do they get away with this crap?
It’s all about the money once again. Then to top it off they want to stop all people that enjoy the sport of hunting. The gov’t wants to control every aspect of your life this is why people voted for Donald Trump. Go Trump Go!!
Scott Pruitt will need an army of help to get him through these next four years. It will be a bureaucratic equivalent to Hamburger Hill where the enemy is already firmly dug in like fire ants with a maze of tunnels. It may be best to just say “You’re Fired!” to the entire agency and replace their function with a better defined, contained and accountable department.
Caves and grass, as greenies should do otherwise they can be labeled as hypocrites.. This EPA teardown is going to be fun and fulfilling to watch, with some glee.

This is a wonderful trend. The other day when Trump had the coal miners at the White House for his Obama’s regulations-killing ceremony, I envisioned all those metro-sexual assholes on both coasts with their little backpacks plastered with Sierra Club logos going nuts. This is the first time I have ever seen a politician boldly and unapologetically standing up to the anti-industrial revolution. If he can follow through, this could be right up there with Reagan’s firing of the air traffic controllers.
When the old left joined the new left and cloaked themselves in green, they left significant chunks of the blue-collar labour (whether unionized or not) constituency out in the cold. In doing so they lost to Trump or anyone else bright enough to seize the opportunity. It also helped that they got behind a candidate that exuded pure evil.

While the Ship I was on was in Refit (H.M.C.S La Hulloise) there was a Fight between a few Coal Miners and Navy fellows. Want to guess who won. The general description was a lot of Navy types in the “Sick Bay’ and included one fellow who had half his ear bitten off.

Scott Pruitt is MORE IMPORTANT than the next 3 SCOTUS appointees. The SCOTUS has simply upheld every “official” declaration from the EPA as though every regulation is coming from a legitimate government agency. The EPA needs reformation even BEFORE the SCOTUS. Go get em Mr Pruitt drain the swamp … dislodge the deep state !
