The occasion was a press conference hosted by the Global Warming Policy Foundation for Myron Ebell, head of the Trump administration’s Environmental Protection Agency transition team. Satan’s Emissary, as liberals prefer to think of him.
Ebell had come to tell them about Trump’s plans for the environment and energy, which I won’t repeat here because you know them already. (It’s going to be beautiful, that’s all you need to remember.)
No, the reason I went wasn’t to hear what Ebell had to say but to watch how his audience reacted…
College teaches a student how to think like someone who does that profession. I’m an engineer, and tried a couple of times (in fourth year) to talk politics with political science or sociology majors. I’m not proud of it now, at the time it was like how an 8 year-old will use a magnifying glass on ants). When I found a couple who were willing to talk, we literally didn’t speak the same language. We spent most of the time comparing the different meanings we had (from the viewpoint of our future professions) for the same words.
The idea that science shouldn’t depend upon group agreement but rather upon agreed upon (and verifiable) experimental results is anathema. The idea that the leadership and self-anointed ones should be held to the same standards (and laws) as the hoi peloi is similarly anathema.

I have waited so long for this day. I was so naive when I read the climategate emails. I thought the whole scam would unravel before my very eyes. I thought surely that the Grey Lady would publish the emails and the scammers would be driven out.
These people will fight tooth and nail not to be thrown off the gravy train. They have acquired so much power and access to resources and they have grown fat with it. They are not giving up without a fight.
We need to unravel their chains of oppression as fast as possible. The regulations, grants, treaties ect all have to go. They will fight to keep us in that harness and we must fight to free ourselves.

Congress may pass a new Bill that avoids the issues, OR impeach any JUSTICE who over-reaches.. The Senators hide behind a false narrative and allow the SCOTUS to go unchallenged….The LAWS of the Nation are made by Congress & the President…

We are already seeing the effects of Trumps energy Policies.
When I started my Inspection career, I was registered with the # 1938….Toay there are over 17,000 registered Welding Inspectors in Canada. (seems to me the CWB & CSA has been doing rather well offering 2600 courses for a Level I Inspector).
Times were good from 2001 onwards – then came 2007/8 and it went to hell…and then by 2012 was off and running again only to be slowed down by the Saudi’s. In todays world finding work is pretty much impossible unless you have excellent contacts.
What I saw recently on linked in was advertising for Canadian Level II Inspectors for US work….Have. passport…I’m ready.
