It’s good to see two of Hillary Clinton’s most famous supporters have recovered from their illness.
The inauguration flu…its like the 24 hour variety only it takes 3 or 4 days to fully recover.
Can hit a little harder on the aged… especially if close members of your family were hoping to be giving an acceptance speech.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Mrs. Clinton had one and the President and Mrs. Bush had been too ill to attend her inauguration. I also wouldn’t be surprised if for any occasion or for no occasion any pair of 90-somethings were too ill to travel.

If you get something similar to pneumonia at that age you’re lucky to survive. They didn’t go to Trump’s inauguration but their son did. So saying this is some type of ruse to not go is simply pathetic.
You must remember that the women in the march on Saturday denounced HRC for attending the inauguration (even though she went as First Lady to Bill). As much as I detest both of them, they did go, showing that – at the very least – they respect the tradition of the occasion.

Globalist elites are democrats and conservatives. I have zero allegiance to any politician. I became politically aware in the Goldwater era. I cannot remember a GOP candidate or POTUS who was ever capable of running the USA according to progressives. It is actually laughable that they are vilifying Trump to the extent they are as he is likely more a Democrat than a Republican. I guess time will tell.

GW lost me in his 2nd term when he was not able to deal with USA debt and spending. Just as Harper lost me when he basically did the same thing and topped all that by not bringing the real issues faced by Canada onto the national agenda. This failure could easily end up breaking the country apart.
