Best Canadian Blog
2004 - 2007
Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Trump The Establishment
Wait, this Ross dude is a Conservative?
Yes, and -80 in Siberia begs for a #CARBONTAX
They have their bullshit opinions,
I have mine.
I have never written a book to try and explain my BS opinions,
I just ask my wife.
She is the best critical BS editor I know.
People who claim that Trump has no ideology are guilty of never reading his ideology. It’s in his books, on his website, in his speeches, but they don’t “like” Trump’s ideology. Here it is in a nutshell:
– To fear God and maintain His Church
– To serve the liege lord in valour and faith
– To protect the weak and defenceless
– To give succour to widows and orphans
– To refrain from the wanton giving of offence
– To live by honour and for glory
– To despise pecuniary reward
– To fight for the welfare of all
– To obey those placed in authority
– To guard the honour of fellow knights
– To eschew unfairness, meanness and deceit
– To keep faith
– At all times to speak the truth
– To persevere to the end in any enterprise begun
– To respect the honour of women
– Never to refuse a challenge from an equal
– Never to turn the back upon a foe

Interesting article bu there is one thing wrong; Trump did not say the conflict of interest was simply beaus the judge was of Mexican descent, t was because that judge was involved with LA RASA.
I could google it and find the exact details, but I know I am right.
It was not racism from Trump, it was concern that a judge involved in such a radical organization as LA RASA ( which means THE RACE ) would not, could not be impartial.
From the link: “The worst, Decius says, was Trump’s suggestion that Gonzalo Curiel, a federal judge presiding over a fraud case against him, had “an absolute conflict of interest,” because he was of Mexican descent. ‘I thought that was exactly the wrong thing to do,’ Decius said.”
La Raza (The Race”) is a radical hispanic supremacist organization. Judge Gonzalo Curiel is “a member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, a nonprofit professional association of Latino lawyers that is affiliated with a statewide organization, the La Raza Lawyers of California. Neither these groups nor Curiel are affiliated with the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), an unrelated advocacy group.” (Wikipedia)
But they did have a link on the website of the radical La Raza organization. If a group of ethnic identity lawyers had a link on the website of the Ku Klux Klan or the American Nazi Party, what conclusion could a reasonable person draw of their relationship?
Trump expressed himself clumsily in this instance. The problem is not that Curiel was of Mexican descent, but rather he may have have ties to a radical hispanic organization that hated Trump and worked against his nomination and election. The Trump University case, begun by the Attorney General of New York because of alleged “illegal business practices” later morphed into class action lawsuit presided over by Judge Curiel. Trump’s point was he didn’t think he’d get a fair hearing. I think that is arguably a reasonable position.
Postscript: The trial was to begin November 28. The Trump University lawsuit was settled with the litigants with no admission of guilt on Trump’s part. Trump has said he settled as not to have the trial interfere with the formation of his new executive team.
“likened the country to a hijacked airplane, and argued that voting for Trump was like charging the cockpit: the consequences were possibly dire, but the consequences of inaction were surely so.”
The best analogy I have read yet. The left has almost totally taken over every area of life in the US, and in Canada, and maybe the Trump presidency can arrest the momentum and possibly reverse it. Alinksy and Soros were already scenting victory.
there are too many stupid people now, it is going to be impossible to survive.
