If you thought the June 23rd Brexit Referendum was a done deal, you didn’t take into account that multiple dark forces are at work to hijack the democratic decision for the UK to leave the European Union. The latest is a court case launched by a mysterious woman named Gina Miller. More here.
If you’re interested in some light Sunday evening listening, here’s a podcast featuring James Delingpole interviewing Sunday Times political editor Tim Shipman. They go through much of the recent history of Brexit, along with some deep insight into the characters involved.

In a way, I hope the elite try to use obscure legal tricks and win.
I’d like to see the results.
“…multiple dark forces are at work to hijack the democratic decision for the UK to leave the European Union.”
This is not the least surprising. George Soros et al from the Frankfurt School do not take kindly to people actually excising their democratic rights to remain free or to recover their freedom.
The left thinks that society and elections are like a ratcheting gear. Each time they advance one gear, it gets locked and and cannot be backed up from.
They don’t recognise that once a gear is stripped it must be replaced, or the machine will no function properly.
They don’t recognise that once a gear is stripped it must be replaced, or the machine will no function properly.
The disciples of the Frankfurt School aren’t interested in things working properly. They simply want to overthrow western civilization without any concern about what replaces it, if anything.
These are the same sort of people like the ones who suppressed the East German worker uprising in 1953 (and who later built die Mauer in Berlin), who fought the Hungarian rebels in 1956, who invaded Czechoslovakia in response to the Prague Spring in 1968, who opposed the Polish rebellions in 1970, 1976, and 1980 (followed by martial law in 1981), and who turned against the students in Tiananmen Square in 1989.
The left: champions of freedom and democracy, who heed the will of the people…..
These people who cannot stand losing may attempt to destroy the ambitions of more than half of Britain may just cause a horrid civil war in England. A country full of frustrated soccer hooligans, and a lot of hateful muslims …. and with little to lose … gun runners will show up and the fun will begin. Better to honor the democratic process and accept the majority rule while it’s still available.
Amen.
If France, the Netherlands, Austria, Finland and Hungary all vote to leave the EU,
what will Britain go back to ?
Now, If the British could win a European soccer trophy that would be much more impressive.
there is only one way to deal with the communists and Nazis. See WW2.
I would say that this is where Britain finally decides if they are going to have a free country or not.
The question is not if the elite will bow to the democratic process. The question is what the people will do when they don’t.
PM May will likely win in the Supreme Court. Its a treaty, enetered into by an Act. it is government which handles actions between parties, not parliaments. Otherwise every action between parties would have needed parliamentary approval, not the signature of an unnamed pen-ousher in the Foreign Office.
In other news, in the Ship Money case, 1641, where a citizen objected to having to pay a tax levied by Royal decree, and not by Parliament, the King’s Exchequer Court, sitting in band (as a court of appeal), held 7-5, that the levy was lawful. By the end of the year 2 of the 7 had died of natural causes, 3 had been impeached by the Commons and the remaining 2 had been forced from the bench.
Also, in other news,m by the end of 1641, Charles I lost his head, because the ‘divine right’ of kings had passed its sell-by date. The French being slow learners took until 1792…
I would personally LOVE to see the “divine right” of leftists result in a little head-popping … even though 2016 is wayyyy behind 1641
Storm in a tea cup. Either the Government wins at the Supreme court, or a motion is put to the Commons.
Should the motion pass then we’re back on track.
Should it fail then that can be made to serve as a vote of no confidence, and trigger a general election.
The government was 18% ahead in the polls last I looked, I doubt the opposition want to fight a general election at all right now, and they surely don’t want to fight in opposition to what their constituents have already voted for.
Of course, much EU legislation passed into British law without comment from Parliament, so should the Government lose in the Supreme court, presumably that becomes null and void.
The symbolic request by President Trump for the return (Obama’s Kenyan revenge) to the WH of Churchill’s Bust may be the only message that EU piss-ants understand…
It’s sometimes hard to properly describe all the leftish extortionists in their various guises………Liberal, Democrat, NDP, Green etc.
And although there are many more accurate and properly vituperate descriptions, I wonder if Frankfurter isn’t the perfect catch-all term.
If nothing else maybe people will finally figure out what the Liberal/Left(see what I mean?) is lying to them about.
#$%^&! Frankfurters!!
