Actually this story exposes the main attribute of the left, that being their penchant for dirty tricks. They learned well from Lenin.
The video didn’t tank Romney. Running with the same failed platform did. If people can’t tell the difference between ginger ale and ginger beer – there is no difference.
Romney was a really nice, polite, well-spoken Repulicrat, globalist Wall Streeter. Gee, he would have been a swell president. It’s a shame we will never experience Romneycare. He was such a polite compromiser.
If the Republicans couldn’t come up with a proper defence of free market capitalism for their platform or explain the 47% in its proper context (which is not difficult) then it’s no wonder they lost.
Are they trying to say it wasn’t a fixed fight?

The problem wasn’t the comment, the problem wasn’t the R defense, the problem was and is a media that will take comments out of context, refuse to allow a rational explanation for what they mean, and trumpet to an uninvolved electorate a headline that screams “don’t vote for this guy”.
See the post above about how the media is going 24/7 with Trump accusers and ignoring the wars in Syria and Yemen. Think you would have heard a peep from the same media if a presidential candidate had smoked pot, hung out with terrorists, and claimed to have been born overseas while an R President was involved in a war in the Middle East? Oh wait, we don’t have to speculate. It already happened.
