Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella

Number 10 is hilarious, appropriate and timely. Especially followed by 11.
Great collection!
Number 1, Must have men possibly captured or surrendered at Paris HQ, as most are Wehrmacht, some Luftwaffe. One of these could have been General Hans Speidel, a future Bundeskreig commander, and a suspect in the July 1944 attempt to assassinate Hitler.
Number 23, National no smiling day. Progressives were a disgruntled bunch even in those days.
thanks for that link – it makes history accessible and allows one to put things in perspective.
Notice that all the positive photos of politicians were heros of the left?
i didn’t go back to check but is #10 or #11 a photo with a disney character in it?
Where can I get a hat like the one in #25? That’s gotta be a babe magnet head piece.
that #10 photo is just plain goofy. Lord, have mercy on the criminals.
#3 explains a lot. It has to be very, very, difficult to grow up a homely girl. When even your glamour photos are dull and cringeworthy. Trying so hard to become attractive, but failing to attract anyone except total pervs who will hit anything that will drop her knickers. No wonder some women grow to HATE men so much. So much regret and bitterness with this one.
They aren’t the same pictures in all frames. Compare the middle bottom t-shirt with the others.
These are all of Hillary at 22?
Hillary wasn’t homely. She has a totally f**ked mind – but that’s different.
I suspect the only one in #10 that approaches normal is the one in the duck costume.
So, was it on purpose that Shrillary’s horrific images were juxtaposed next to JFK’s – arguably a good president? Seems a little bit of a set up to me. 1969 pictures of someone still alive is not a “rare” photo. I think that my mom might have some pictures of me in 1960. Maybe those will qualify as “rare” also?
Or maybe I have just been too believing in how the media attempts to manipulate opinion.
The photo (#20) of the little English girls on VE-day is outstanding.
