Neutral Observers

Multiple sources connected with NBC tell us … top network execs knew about the video long before they publicly said they did, but wanted to hold it because it was too early in the election. The sources say many NBC execs have open disdain for Trump and their plan was to roll out the tape 48 hours before the debate so it would dominate the news cycle leading up to the face-off.

  1. Also not news, Koskinen and Lerner will not be directing the IRS to treat NBC as part of the Democratic party, the nightly news as campaign expenditures… etc.

  2. This is the same NBC that edited the George Zimmerman 911 tapes to make him sound like a racist. They have zero credibility and deserve to whither and die.
BTW your Captcha has really started to suck rather badly.

  3. Hate to be totally flippant, but I’m filing this story about NBC under “Well freaking d’uh”!
I think lance has been doing a good job. I’ll bet this site would be drowning in groupthink if he were simply a Trump sycophant. It only gets discouraging for me when it appears he is cheap-shotting Trump supporters or cherry-picking the despicably dishonest MSM for biased articles to support his anti-Trump feelings.
I suspect lance would love to be able to support Trump but, because of the man, can’t bring himself to.

  5. I’m 88 and not offended. It’s man talk and, no, not all men talk or think like that but too many and it was always thus.
When I was 13/4 yrs old, I was invited to stay with a family on a farm for a week. There were two daughters about my age and a son a bit older. The mother was some kind of a relative of my grandmother’s and had invited us out for dinner once or twice and they were a very nice family.
Forward to the morning I went out to the barn to meet the girls. It was haying season and going out on a wagon sounded like fun. (This was before we wore slacks.)
There was one toilet and I obviously was the last one to get ready, but when I went out to the barn, no one was there but the father. I felt very uncomfortable. That’s when you turn around and go back in the house and tell the mother the girls had already left with their brother on another wagon and I’d stay with her in the house.
But, I felt intimidated in some way, as if I had to go along with it and not make a fuss.
It’s not easy getting on a wagon and while he was supposedly helping me, he deliberately grabbed my pussy. First time I’ve used that expression, but since that is what all the fuss is about, I’ll say it here.
Trembling inside, I got on the wagon and was subjected for the rest of the day to having my legs touched suggestively and crude remarks, like: You know you enjoy it. I kept looking longingly over to the wagon with the girls but they wouldn’t have heard me even if I yelled.
When we got back to the house, I became ill and was taken back to town where I lay on the bed going in and out of consciousness while my mother hovered looking very worried (you didn’t call doctors in those days). It was most likely heat stroke, plus the hours of fear.
I never told anyone about it until after I was married. My husband’s reaction was to laugh. What men think is harmless and funny is a complete puzzle to me.
Regardless of being crude, a narcissist, and very unpredictable, I’d vote for Trump to keep Clinton out of office. If I were an American, I wouldn’t want her to appoint anyone to the Supreme Court.
I want to scream at the screen: Get over it!

  6. “My husband’s reaction was to laugh.”
Sometimes people laugh because they’re uncomfortable.
“Regardless of being crude, a narcissist, and very unpredictable, I’d vote for Trump to keep Clinton out of office.”
All politicians are narcissists. The crudity of Hillary Clinton toward her Secret Service protection detail is so well known that to be detailed to protect her is known among the SS as a punishment assignment.
Trump is at least as predictable as Clinton is, and for the same reasons. Their own interest is paramount.
It’s just that Trump is currently portraying his best interest as being the same as the United States’ best interest. Whomever is most successful at swaying the most Independents to vote for them is anyone’s guess, but mark my words, the popular vote is overridden by the Electoral College’s decision on who will be President.
I think that Clinton would be the worst President in U.S. ever.

  7. Does this really surprise anybody? Why do you think Wikileaks is (allegedly) holding onto the 33,000 emails until Nov 1?

  8. Apparently talking about your dick in someones mouth is a lot worse than having your dick in someones mouth.
    I’m confused.

  9. Thanks for explaining that, OZ, about some people laughing when they’re uncomfortable. Even after all these years, I needed to hear that.
Yes, you’re correct and I hadn’t thought of it. Some of the Service Service detail have said how volatile she can be. And I just listened to Hannity’s interview with three of the women (one raped, one escaped) and they really are frightened of what will happen if Hillary is elected.

  10. You’re welcome, gellen. There must have been lots to love and honor about the man you cared to marry.
I said that because I just couldn’t imagine that you’d marry a man that was genuinely amused about such a horrible thing happening to any young lady, let alone happening to you, his young bride.

  11. Sorry about the nic confusion, gellen. ‘Spring’ was the first of 3 CAPTCHA words and somehow it ended up in front of my nic.
This CATCHA stuff is getting infuriating.
